Has somebody used the NPC_droid_remote succesfully in SP? This is the small, round floating droid that is shooting with an integral laser weapon in the beginning of Yavin2 map (this is also the droid Luke trains saber skills with in New Hope). My pr...  [Read More]

What went wrong with your trigger? Anyway, do and check the following things: Insert a wait value for the trigger (even if it is using use_button flag; make it a short wait). You are using the facing flag, so check that the angles are where you want...  [Read More]

You indeed need to add the text to the briefings string file. Unfortunately you also need to pack that string file in .pk3 and absolutely have it inside your base folder for it to work. It won't work through load mod. That is a problem several people...  [Read More]

Well, according to WadeV's experience the scripting might not be a reliable method in this situation. However, if I were you and some cool part of my map depended on this, I would still try scripting. It shouldn't take you much longer than the compil...  [Read More]

This post corcerns SP editing. This subject has been addressed in some older post, but I still wouldn't want to throw my hope away. I tried to make a modified, reskinned remote droid to use wp_demp2 gun instead of the wp_bot_laser it is normally usi...  [Read More]

Have you set the curve color to something different than the default? As far as I remember, only func_groups were disturbingly black in the black and green background (that I also use, btw), but of course it might be that I don't just recall it anymo...  [Read More]
