MP may spoil you a bit for SP, so maybe wait until you are into tier 2 of the levels before you play it. BUT, if you're like me you couldn't resist jumping right into MP. Little details are different between the two so you can get confused if you'r...  [Read More]

I occasionally am able to do a nice deathblow (easier if they're backed into a corner against a wall already) but I find kick is more useful (for me) for knocking people off cliffs. ; ) Sadly with lots of lag, unarmed melee attacks are rather hard t...  [Read More]

I think you can do that just by pressing the use button, 'cause I rode right next to someone once and that hand picturte showed up. I just made it to that level the other night and noticed the same thing. But it was so brief, and I wasn't quite sure...  [Read More]

Create an "autoexec.cfg" file. Do this.. go into your /base folder and open up JAmp.cfg (your multiplayer config file or your ja cfg file if this is SP you're having problems with) and then copy and paste all that stuff into the autoexec.c...  [Read More]

Yeah, but then people will complain that "guns are cheap" and stuff like that. The option to tweak damage like that may already be in the game, but I don't know what the commands would be. Also, there's the point of balancing weapon damag...  [Read More]
If they alter the default speed in any way, they should make it faster. Ditto. The game speed cvar can speed up or slow down the game's overall speed. I prefer that people don't mess with it, but it's their choice on their servers....  [Read More]

I haven't tested THOSE siege map commands, but I know these work: map mp/siege_hoth map mp/siege_korriban map mp/siege_desert This has been posted a couple of times already btw (and I added it to the "Not Enough Customization" thread wh...  [Read More]

Actually the use of a no-cd crack should be causing the problem, rather than fixing it. If you're using a real, legally purchased disc (disc 1) and its in the drive right now and all the stuff in the system analyzer checked out then yes you have a p...  [Read More]

SF, those siege commands are different than the ones I've been using (but those may work as well). I just type in: mp/siege_hoth mp/siege_desert mp/siege_korriban Anyway, as you can see it's not that hard, all its doing differently thank JK2 is pu...  [Read More]

Nobody knows until its announced. 2 weeks after the game's release? I doubt it. If you just mean a level pack, I kind of doubt that as well. Nothing like that was done for JK2. All we got was the demo level. If an expansion comes, I predict it will...  [Read More]
The "jumpy bot syndrome" is a symptom (in MP) of forgetting to port over (or program in as the case may be) bot routes (aka waypoints) in the level for them to navigate. In SP I have no idea, I guess it must use something similar in the sc...  [Read More]

It's true, some cheats do mess up the game. Not much you can do about it except start over or type in different cheats. The "setforceall X" cheat does that for example (giving you a billion stances, making it hard to switch through them)....  [Read More]

My point is, if these RPG players are so big on interaction and character building, then they should seek SWG, because it's 95% that, 5% cool combat. JA is 98% cool combat and the other 2 % is character building and interaction (or maybe even less i...  [Read More]
