Well, I'm not going to do that for you, sorry. However, if you can talk someone else into doing it, go for it. In theory Basic should be runnable on unpure servers without changing anything. You'd probably just have to load the mod first or place it...  [Read More]

Well, my thoughts on counter defense is that the saber should have full attack damage even when idle, since you're technically jumping onto the blade. But this wouldn't apply if you knock your opponent into a knockback first. This way you ever have...  [Read More]
Ok, well, the Rancor death messages isn't my fault. That's the new code ported from the Asteroids code. I guess I could look into it at some point than that's pretty low priorty for me....  [Read More]
Thanks for the excellent feedback. I suspect that most of these issues will be resolved with some more waypoint flags....  [Read More]
Ok, beta 3 for Basic v0.0.5 is out. (personal.palouse.net/razorace/ojp_basic_005b3.zip) The only changes since beta 2 have been making the Tab Bots work in siege. It's pretty early stage stuff, but, they can get all the way to the coffin without help...  [Read More]

I agree that the most important thing here is to prevent the loss of that hard work and the modder talent behind that. That was what I was in the middle of doing when Anakin backstabbed me on this and that pissed me off. While, I still stand by my s...  [Read More]

Additional: Anakin just backstabbed me here. He just, behind my back, changed his mind about quit (after 2 hours of trying to talk them down), didn't give me access to staff forums when he said he would (for the second time), and didn't back me up w...  [Read More]

As the OJP moderator, as far as I know, there's no OJP code in the demo. However, the lastest beta for OJP Basic does have some AotC TC code in it. In addition, the The Last Hope mod has removed its OJP content, as far as I know, since the author di...  [Read More]

Kick, ip ban abilities, and remote adminning are all in base JKA. If you believe otherwise, you've been told wrong. Secondly, exactly what are you looking for and would you be able to guarentee dedicated server time for the mod if I was to add those...  [Read More]

As for evolutionary AI, the problem with it is that it requires a lot of evolve time especially when the situation it's dealling with is fluid. Unfortunately, that's not really doable since JKA runs in real time. You'd have to have the computer conti...  [Read More]

The new bots (at least a prototype of them) is already in the lastest Basic Beta. Ledge grab will not be going into Basic because it's a gameplay change and I think it will screw up the purpose of Basic to force people to download 12+ mgs of animat...  [Read More]
