Kind of a toss up there. I mean, you could easily pick on the old atari games for limited gameplay and primitive graphics, but at the time they weren't so bad. Then again, most of them could be fun once you figured out how to play. I guess the bigge...  [Read More]

Hey, if your pc can handle it, may I suggest a DVD-ROM drive? They are usually cheaper than stand-alone players, and look better (well unless you have a crappy monitor, but a great TV). I got mine for $30. Then of course if you have a video card wit...  [Read More]

I saw it once when it came out, in the theatre. It had some good moments, and it was entertaining, but it wasn't the greatest movie I've ever seen or anything. I'd rent it again on DVD though, if given the opportunity. Kurgan...  [Read More]

I was playing Shogo: Mobile Armored Division again recently, and I was thinking... there is a ton of blood in this game (by default), yet, it's rated TEEN. How is that possible? While it's true there aren't any guts, there are <a href="http:...  [Read More]

Mercenary, I would suggest trying it with the "Super Smart Dark Jedi" patch on hard, if you think just plain hard isn't tough enough. ; ) Really though, Yun is beaten pretty easily if you use Multiplayer saber tactics. Run and hit, repeat....  [Read More]

Well whatever, as long as everytime you try it, it doesn't go into a cutscene where the ghost of Rahn scolds Kyle for "being so careless." Maybe a nice joke could be inserted, like the first time Kyle fires it up, you hear him mutter to hi...  [Read More]

Well again, not in the movie... then it doesn't have the same status as what is in the movie. Heck, in the EU there's tons of stuff going on "behind the scenes" that could be inferred if you wanted to (ie: Shadows of the Empire, select sce...  [Read More]

Of course the scene with Obi-Wan's lightsaber fizzling out because of water is "not part of the movie" either, since it doesn't appear anywhere in the film. So I think we have nothing to say that lightsabers are water-resistant, or damaged...  [Read More]

Bah! And in (Lucas approved) Splinter of the Mind's Eye, (written and taking place just after ANH), we see Luke using his (Anakin's old) lightsaber underwater with no problems. So I guess waterproof sabers were invented sometime between Episode I an...  [Read More]
