NickR, They're talking about something. :) But the information is appreciated. According to the admin (https://www.freepository.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=106), there's a problem with the tarball system at the moment. He's working on a fix....  [Read More]

This needs to be clarified. We allow leeches in OJP. Newbies are a very important part of the community and we can't restrict valuble modding resources from them. This is a pillar of OJP. I will not allow that to be changed. This also applies to pri...  [Read More]

You can only really have one .gla for the humanoid. Any more and you're going to cause a nightmare when it comes to servers and for coders. Just stick with one file, handling which animations are playable will have to be done in the code anyway....  [Read More]

"Flipping the bird" should not be put in the game. It's not Star Warsy, and it's unsportmanlike. Putting it in would only cause problems. Secondly, due to the nature of the code, additional animations would have to be packaged with the cod...  [Read More]

Well, that's what CVS (www.cvshome.org) is for. You could get direct access to our CVS repository and then get regular updates that should automatically merge with your copies as long as you haven't changed something that was changed in the lastest u...  [Read More]

I suggest that you make it so you can't turn the saber on/off while it's not in your hand. In addition, unless it hits and sticks into something (or slices thru it), it should automatically turn off on collision....  [Read More]

Actually, many of the gametypes require addition map entities (CTF, Holocron FFA, and JediMaster), so that won't really work unless you add the additional entities and force people to d/l the updated maps....  [Read More]

I don't think that's a good idea. Slowing down defender while he is blocking is only going to cause him to get overrun/trapped by an attacker. However, I agree that the this constant running is a problem. I have some ideas on how to balance it: 1....  [Read More]
