Anyway..as far as this model is coming along, it makes me increasingly pissed that lucasarts had to go and can "The Hunted" bountyhunting mod. Maybe someone could toss one together that won't be so much like the game that's being made, like...  [Read More]

To light the rooms, couldn't you just have an illuminated arch-shaped polyhedron angling down onto the floor, like light coming into a dusty room through a window. This effect can be seen in Ente's level "PadHall" in the upper windows http:...  [Read More]

That actually might be a cool addition to a co-op map(if what I'm proposing is possible). Someone in the modeling forum is building a low poly battle droid, planning to use an arena type level(maybe this one) to pit 3-8 jedi against hoards of droids....  [Read More]

Wow...your progress is looking quite nice. It might just be me, but the walls of the arena seemed a little more red in the movie, almost a clay color. But that's something you probably can't help at this point if you're using Bryce. I am pretty sure...  [Read More]

Definitely go with the concept art, if I recall correctly the picture Wes is talking about looked very surreal and dramatic. It would be quite cool if you included it....  [Read More]

Well, the master modeler speaks. I'm guessing lots of people will want to be your friend around here, and I can't say I blame them :D As far as the future of Plo Koon, I don't think anyone is too worried. You seem to have things WELL under control. B...  [Read More]

Ahhhh!! Holy crap! With so much detail in the face...and the perfect curves, and those hands... ::drool:: ...and he made this in what, a day and a half? Who does this guy work for? I mean...if only every model in jedi outcast could be that awsome. We...  [Read More]

I do have to agree with Klorel that no matter what effect you go for, it needs to have a bit of an accent and a little more expression in the voice. More of a calm warning of "Your demise is inevitable..." than a robotic "YOUR DEMISE I...  [Read More]

To me, the voice still sounds a bit too....robotic. I like the depth that it has(maybe a bit too deep, though), but I always imagined telepathy as sounding more echoey and calming, like in a dream. Kind of how it sounds when Ben says "Luke, use...  [Read More]

Wow, that face looks astoundingly real. I am wanting this model more and more :D I do hope you include a surfce with her hair down with the flatter look. Even if you hate how it looks, I still want to make a skin of that new essential guide to chara...  [Read More]

I must say I really like the essential guide to characters pic, it seems to bear a striking resemblance to Jolene Blalock. I'm glad you've got a bit of that look going in your model, but it would be pretty cool if you could include the flatter hair s...  [Read More]

I suggested it once before and I'll suggest it again: Couldn't you just create a simple head over the actual skull as a separate surface(to be turned off), move the REAL head(the one we would see) down and forward to make a more accurate hunch, and d...  [Read More]

Almost perfect..but I think the nose/mouth is looking just a little bit off. In pictures the nose is much fatter around the bridge, and the tip is more round and knobby-looking(but that's more of a model issue). Also, the mouth looks a bit too pronou...  [Read More]

Maybe you could move the head forward and down to include the bad posture if you made an extra head behind it that would be attached to the skeleton in the correct location. Then you could just alpha the extra head out and weight the real head(the on...  [Read More]

Yes, I did pay attention, and NOWHERE in the movie was the term "lost 20" mentioned, and nowhere was it actually stated that Dooku was a jedi that "just left" the jedi order. Maybe you read the novel or something and have more bac...  [Read More]

I'm pretty sure Dooku was Sifo-Dyas. The idea was that he faked his own death 10 years earlier to cross to the dark side. When talking to obi-wan while he was held captive in that force field thing Dooku even says that just as obi-wan was qui-gon's...  [Read More]

DaJo Kesea, it might just be me, but I was under the impression that Tex and Mark_Li wanted to make their own Mace Windu for some reason, so I'm not too certain they'd want to be part of any team effort. But if you ask me, Klorel's Mace looks quite...  [Read More]

Constructive criticism here...but it would probably be a good idea to work on the details of the model more(or hand this off to someone who will) before it gets released. It looks fine, but its not exactly accurate, and it would really suck if you go...  [Read More]
