I know he doesn't, but I wasn't really going for an exact match because of the limitations of the luke model. I just added the sideburns in because without them he looked a little girlish....  [Read More]

In response to the inquiry about other projects, I did this skin about a month ago(and Maw) http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?threadid=71556 If anyone is bored they can head on over and have a look see. I haven't released it yet because I've...  [Read More]

Had some time to work on Jerec today, so here's an update: http://www.geocities.com/inbredyokel2000/jerec3.txt Still a lot left to do, but I guess a little progress is better than no progress....  [Read More]

Just thought I'd update everyone.... Started school the beginning of this week so I'm extremely busy and haven't had a chance to touch the skin in about a week. I've also got some medical problems I'm dealing with(nothing too serious), so I'm a bit o...  [Read More]

I really don't understand why everyone is such a fan of capes and cloaks. Without custom animations most of them look awful in game, and due to polycount restraints half of them are practically flat planes with wrinkles painted on. Maybe it'd be cool...  [Read More]

If you want to do ctf skins I'm totally fine with it. I was just going to do a little recoloration on the default skin to make them, so the more the merrier....  [Read More]

Here's update #2 http://www.geocities.com/inbredyokel2000/jerec2.txt The face itself is pretty much complete(some nose texture alignment remains), and the head is nearing completion. I've got a good start on the clothing, but I'm not going to show an...  [Read More]

Like I said, they're stand-ins:) The actual tatoos are much thinner and longer, and point almost straight down. Btw, I need a little help on one part of the skin. Was Jerec blind or did he have no eyes at all? I remember reading or hearing somewhere...  [Read More]

Got the UV maps from Madjai last night, and I've got the basic facial features in. The mouth tatoos are only a stand-in for now, and the color looks washed out because I'm skinning in greyscale and have placed a layer of color over everything for ref...  [Read More]

Emon, if you can do the shaders on the updated Maw skin, you are MORE than welcome to, and I'd gladly give you credit. Modifying an existing shader is one thing(one thing I can do), but making an entirely new one and getting it to work in a convincin...  [Read More]

Very nice. I wouldn't be afraid to make him a little more imposing(broader shoulders, stronger build). I'm guessing the writers and artists for jedi knight intended for Jerec to look like the concept art, but had to take what they got when it came to...  [Read More]

Yes, naturally. But the game's c-3po skin just looks very fake, especially in the way they attempted to paint-on light reflecting from the surface. It doesn't even look gold, it's more of a nasty mustard-yellow. The Aotc threepio could use a slight s...  [Read More]

This was mentioned before, but someone really does need to tackle the shaders on the c-3po models. I would try, but by the time I'd figure it out and have them ready you'd have released several weeks earlier. He just seems so fake and spray-painted l...  [Read More]

Just out of curiosity, did you include any kind of back doors to the rooms surrounding the arena? I don't know if they were actually shown anywhere in the movie, but I'd presume that there was another back entrance to bring people into each room. It...  [Read More]

It's a pity force push can't slow a fall. It would make players much more mobile in tall levels like this. As far as adding destructability to this level, the more the better. As a co-op level, keeping this map interesting shouldn't be a problem sinc...  [Read More]

That actually wouldn't be too difficult. I could just make a few changes to the existing skin(like getting rid of the grey hair and massive amount of wrinkles, and making him look less sad/surprised). The clothing could stand a little change too, per...  [Read More]

Hey, I may as well be considered part of your skinning team, just so you know. I skinned legless Maw and I'm currently skinning Madjai's Jerec model. I'll later be doing the legged Maw, and I'd be willing to do any of Madjai's other dark jedi if he w...  [Read More]
