Yeh I very much agree, you can alter an awful lot without the SDK. You'd need the SDK to try to produce say a completely modified combat system in SP or something like that, but beyond that you can do almost anything you would realistically want with...  [Read More]

The code is based on Quake 3, and they don't have the rights to that. I think thats the main reason. I honestly don't think you need it to mod almost anything you want anyway. Sure you can't create totally new weapons or change the gameplay massively...  [Read More]
