Well, I don't understand the current saber hilt system or how to model them. You'll have to ask around....  [Read More]

Sure, it's doable. If you want a quick fix, you could just create a saber with the blade on the "wrong" side....  [Read More]
Originally posted by Kurgan I think there needs to be a "fall on your own saber" emote, that I can use whenever somebody starts whining and I lose the will to continue on... Or you could bind it to the bow/meditate emotes. :D...  [Read More]

That sounds good. I'll be sure to start looking into it, since I devoted so much attention to ProMod in JKII. :) There's a MotF forums here under "hosted forums" if you're interested. Remind me to slap Dest upside his head for making Jedi...  [Read More]

I think that's partially due to people considering anything that prevents them from winning to be a bug or a flaw in the gameplay. :D Plus, I'm pretty sure that a LOT of the perceived problems are flat out due to crappy pings. Unfortunately, a melee...  [Read More]

I ask Rich Whitehouse about a patch. He said "no comment." This was after I asked if he could confirm, deny, or not talk about a upcoming patch. As such, I beleive they are simply waiting for clearance to get some patches out. Damn legal...  [Read More]

Well, you're right. Developers do need to be "in touch" with their customers. I was simply pointing out that general gaming population really doesn't think all their gameplay suggestions through before demanding them. The general gaming...  [Read More]

I disagree. First off, players aren't game designers. They don't know how to design/make fun and interesting games. Plus, many gamers have a pretty limited view of indivdual games. Often they will give a bais to "their" favorite race/stan...  [Read More]

You mean by using existing animations or new ones? Remember that either way, you'd have do some pretty heavy duty coding to get it to work/look good. Anyway, this belongs in the requests forum....  [Read More]

Well, the ability to do it for SP is 100% dependant on if Raven releases the SP code. As for MP, I might get to it, but no guarentees. I got a lot of other stuff I want to work on as well. If I do it, I'll be sure to have it installed in OJP (http:/...  [Read More]

Unfortunately, the code control the player's viewpoint isn't accessable from a txt file. You need the qvm code (for MP) and the game source code (for SP). As for where the viewpoint was in JK2 SP, I beleive it was strapped to the top of your player...  [Read More]

That might work, but like I stated before, it might not look correct either. I had major problems with making true view because you have to carefully positional the camera or else you see your nonexistent neck when you look down. It's a minor problem...  [Read More]

1. I suggest that we try to make a master cvar/command list that people can add to over time. I'm trying to talk to Kurgan about it to see if he wants to get involved. 2. I think our readmes/docs will look much better and be easier to read if we use...  [Read More]
