Actually, now that I think of it, my first adventure was probably Fahrenheit 451, a textish adventure with still pictures, based on the Ray Bradbury book of the same name. It follows a different storyline to the book, but concept of the world is the...  [Read More]

I think my first adventure was Leisure Suit Larry 2. I went on to play lots of Sierra adventures until I bought three games in a row which were intolerably short, including one that took me about 4 hours of not particularly intensive playing to finis...  [Read More]

I didn't think they looked like the guard (Jay Laga'ia) or Jango Fett (Temuera Morrison). He was definitely polynesian, but looked a little more heavyset than either of those two. Remember that they were modified clones of Jango Fett, so they might...  [Read More]

That makes sense. The only problem is that the whole balance thing is not mentioned at all in the original trilogy. Maybe if Lucas really is adding new scenes, then that's what they're about. Otherwise the issue will have to be resolved in Episode 3...  [Read More]

You forget the most important aspect of using the Force: You must hold your hand out in front of you, or wave it around in some manner. (That always annoyed me, but I suppose it's the nature of movies that there needs to be some visual indication of...  [Read More]

I always thought the rule was "A Jedi uses the Force for knowledge and defence. Never for attack." (As stated by Yoda in Empire, during Luke's training) That's why Jedi use light sabers. If they used the force to kill people, it would be t...  [Read More]
Then the question remains when was Palpatine a Jedi? Or was he never a jedi? How did he learn of the Force? Was he a native of Naboo? I guess these things must wait for Star Wars Episode 0: Yes We're Telling this Story Backwards...  [Read More]
While I don't think it's a good idea to have too many kids running around, it'd be nice to see the origin of a young man called Wedge Antilles. Too much emphasis on "fan service" type appearances can seriously ruin things, though. I've see...  [Read More]

I don't see anything in the movie that would require a huge amount of in-depth knowledge of the Star Wars universe to understand. All the intercutting is between locations and events we never knew about before anyway, so being a hardcore fan wouldn'...  [Read More]

My guess is that the droids will have their memories erased after Luke and Leia are 'hidden' (or 3PO at least - R2 always was a bit on the sly side) I say hidden, although hiding a kid on his father's home planet with his uncle and aunt hardly seems...  [Read More]

I loved at the beginning when Obi Wan says to Anakin "If you practiced your saber as much as you practice your wit, you'd be as good a swordsman as Master Yoda" And everyone in the theatre just goes "wha? Yoda a good swordsman?"...  [Read More]
What did it say about it in the novelization? It seemed to me to be just quotes from Episode 1, which implies that it's just Anakin remembering, rather than a Qui-Gonn ghost. I also remember after Ep 1 came out, people were asking why Qui-Gonn didn'...  [Read More]

Demolisher: Palpatine & Dooku make the droids in order to give the republic a reason for the creation of the clone army. The clone army mowed through the droids quite easily (Ep 1. showed how useless a droid army is), but it was all a diversion....  [Read More]

I thought it was great. I enjoyed it all, particularly the opening scenes on Coruscant. I thought the humour worked well, and the action sequences were varied and exciting. The locations were pretty cool, too. The portents of Anakin's dark future wer...  [Read More]

One of the problems is the large number of other boards out there catering to roughly the same community. It's bound to split everyone up - I know I tend not to frequent more than a couple of boards at a time. But people come to Mojo for the news, so...  [Read More]
