There's a cvar to turn off the Force distortions, it might control that as well, or there could be a similar one. What are your system specs? That's a pretty basic 3D effect, it shouldn't take much....  [Read More]

I guess. I remember hearing about bugs for JO that never existed, often because people just suck and look to bugs to make them think they are actually good. But hey, I haven't played MP much, so I don't really know. What do you mean about not contro...  [Read More]

I think LEC pulled the plug on Raven's patches because they wanted them to work on JA. Mike mentioned a "secret project" several times after JO was released, I think JA had been decided since the JO story was written (how Tavion escaped). I...  [Read More]

I think we need some feedback. I know some of Raven's employees read these forums, and I know some of them see the real suggestions and bug/balance lists, and ignore the trash around here... I'm sure they've discussed at least somewhat the problems t...  [Read More]

Of course, the same is true for almost anything. But my point is that OpenGL is largely CPU dependant, as opposed to how Direct3D is very GPU dependand. Upgrading from a GF4 to like a Radeon 9x00 won't have a huge difference in some OpenGL apps as wo...  [Read More]
