You should include a wide variety of presets, including various shades of each color. People are stupid, and if not given presets, will turn them all the way up, making them horribly bright and ugly....  [Read More]

Uh, dude, printscreen will be no better. Infact, it'll probably be a lot, lot worse in quality. The reason you get differences in brightness is because the gamma settings are with hardware. Either find a program that can capture screenshots at that l...  [Read More]

I'm not sure the vehicle pack is a good idea anymore. I originally thought it was, but now I'm not sure. The original idea was to make a pack for mappers to use in their levels. Only trouble is that people would have to download (what would be come)...  [Read More]

Valve is supposed to release dotXSI plugins for softimage|exp, maybe they export to the same version JO/JA uses. Oh yeah. There's Wings 3D (http://wings3d.com), which is based off of or inspired by Nendo and Mirai. Mirai was used by Bay Raitt for Go...  [Read More]

Uh, razorace, Siege has voice commands. Kurgan, you can already bind them to keys, I'm fairly certain. The most effective system I've seen is Enemy Territory's, which is entirely keyboard controlled, either with alpha or numeric keys (e.g. M for med...  [Read More]

Framerate is a terrible way to measure performance, look at the triangles drawn with r_speeds 1. For singleplayer, it shouldn't be going much over 40K, for MP, not much over 25K....  [Read More]

It's the BSP format. SoFII, JO, JA, all use RBSP, Q3 and some others like EF use IBSP, and EFII uses whatever Ritual's format is, which is totally different, that's why EFII stuff wouldn't load. Infact, Ritual's stuff isn't really like anything else....  [Read More]
