RotJ, hands down, because the good guys finally win. Luke finally gets to be a Jedi, Han's not a carbonite cube, the Emperor's turned into a bunch of floating electrons. Wicket beats Jar-Jar any day, and using a stormtrooper helmet as a musical inst...  [Read More]

Ooh, the treachery, training Grivis to kill Bastila....So very Sith. :) Please decrease the length of the 'dashed lines' in future chapters/fics. It stretches the pages out too much for those of us using lower resolutions. It drives readers crazy to...  [Read More]

Also, to the Mods, I'm sorry if this Thread is breaking the Rules (It isn't a popularity contest btw). It's not breaking any Forum Rules (http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?t=169078). However, even if you may not perceive it as a popularity...  [Read More]

If you're going for something new, experiment with 1st person. Just know that you'll have to be very careful about how things get done, because the only way for the reader to know something is if your main character sees, hears, or experiences someth...  [Read More]

"Long" is the understatement of the century. My outline is 2 pages long. I wrote about 8 pages today, and got about 1/3 of the way through the outline. I'm hoping work's a little light tomorrow so I can get a lot done. I need to send it out...  [Read More]

Jolee and Talin are joining in with Jae. I'm working on my story. Emperor Devon--do you want to generate the character stats via the TSL character generator and adjust up to level 18 by KSE, or use the rules in the SW core rulebook--I can post the...  [Read More]

I use Word. The spell checker does a good job of finding my spelling errors and typos, but I usually ignore the grammar check. I let it run in case there's some major weird grammar goof, but otherwise I click the 'ignore rule' button more often than...  [Read More]

Mixing CSI and SW is rather fun. A technical point--disruptors don't fire bullets, so there'd be no bullets to search for. I had a little trouble getting caught by some of the grammar. Consider reading it out loud when you finish writing it. I rea...  [Read More]

Interesting take on the Revan revelation. Yeah, I didn't like Carth getting killed either, but it's his fic, he gets to write it the way he likes it. :) Watch the language, Revanscool. It's a PG-13 forum. If I see a lot of swear words/expletives I'l...  [Read More]

You have a nice story going. A word on italics--it's used to indicate something a character is thinking, not what the character is saying. For dialogue, just use normal text with quote marks. Double check your grammar. Some of the sentences get a l...  [Read More]
