But you need to remember that a texture will only be shiny(use CM_Baremetal) if the texture has an alpha channel. The OE devs in their infinate wisdom killed many of the alpha channels in the K1 skins. So an armor that was shiny in K1 may not be shi...  [Read More]

You need to edit Heads.2da and add the extra DS transitions. TSL's Heads only use 3 textures for the DS transition while KotOR used 5....  [Read More]

^^^ It should but, I think CM_Baremetal can only be used on the defualt robe variations, as far as I know all tests that tried that with a custom texture varitation just made the model transparent regardless of what you have in the txi. SO for it t...  [Read More]
You don't need to edit the appearance.2da, just make the section of the texture black on the Alpha channel where the cape is mapped. and use blending punchthrough in the txi. The down side to this is that you will have to make the rest of the texture...  [Read More]

I wouldn't rename a model to txt, you can easily kill the model when you save it as a txt and rename it back(I've seen many people in the past do that and kill thier model then blame the problem on something else), but If you absolutely have to edit...  [Read More]

I wouldn't use mdlops to rename head textures it is much safer to use a hex editor. I would deffinately try to hex edit them than anthing else right now....  [Read More]
You could use one appearance line for all 3 size classes. In TSL there is not a size difference, But in KotOR there is. However it will still work fine by just useing one line for either game, you just have to remeber to make the portriats.2da refere...  [Read More]
