JA: v1.0.0.0 win-x86 Aug 5 2003 Are you sure you have JA updated to the latest version? I'm not sure how that could cause this problem, but I've heard that it's quite important for getting the mod to work....  [Read More]

Wow, reminds me of the crates in Jedi Academy that say "crate" in Aurebesh. There were a few other things like that in JA, but nothing that looked like a designer's IM conversation... "I hate computers so much" is quite amusing,...  [Read More]
I thought that the demo was great, from gameplay to graphics to sound. I was amazed at the variety, coolness, and attention to detail in the graphics, especially the special effects, but what impressed me the most was that on probably my 5th or 6th t...  [Read More]

Don't underestimate your computers, now. A GeForce FX 5200 can definitely do more than minimum graphics--I've got one and I'm running the HL2 demo with everything turned up to high (although it won't let me switch DirectX from 8 to 9) with no problem...  [Read More]

Correction: The Naboo star fighter does have landing gear. I checked in my Episode One Incredible Cross-Sections book (I love those books). It definitely has two skids that lower from the main body just behind the rear edge of the wing. It there's on...  [Read More]

Perhaps when the Crow lands, it doesn't need landing gear; it just hovers on its repulsorlifts. This could be practical in the SW universe, just consider all the landspeeder, speeder bikes, and other vehicles that always float and don't have landing...  [Read More]

I don't remember what kind of sound card my old computer has, probably because we had to replace it twice. Great job, Benevolence! The music is awesome. Have you finished all the music for the mod, or just what's in the demo? I've been thinking for...  [Read More]

Rhubarb is definitely awesome, whether in pies or the jam my grandma makes. Wait, I have to choose a favorite type of pie to post in this thread? ;) That's not fair, you can't make me choose! They're all so good: apple, blackberry, pumpkin, the list...  [Read More]

Basically, where is the site? I seem to remember that it was supposed to come up a few weeks after these forums did. Of course, at this point, I'm not sure it's necessary (not much news on the game recently), and as someone not willing to take on res...  [Read More]

Although I'd like to see the dianoga too, I have a feeling we'll have to wait for the demo for that. :( Oh well, I guess that just makes it that much more frightening the first time you see one in the demo. Oooh, I can't wait. How much longer now? Ye...  [Read More]

I think they just thought the DT was just the closest existing thing to the specific gameplay role they wanted to fill. I wouldn't worry too much about it appearing in the wrong battles; it's not like Battlefront's really story-based anyway....  [Read More]

Interestingly enough, I've never had any problems with this forum with IE on my Win98 PC. This is probably due to some combination of security settings and the Google toolbar's popup blocker. I never even got a window asking me to install anything, s...  [Read More]

Shamus, such a site could be done easily with PHP or comparable technology; it wouldn't be hard at all if you had a systematic way of naming the files. And a server with enough space and the right software. That's a great idea, IMO, as it allows many...  [Read More]
