What kind of Computer do you have? This should apply to the one that you plan to play Republic commando on.
I shall start.
Keep in mind that I'm still building this and need a video card and the like
Processor: AMD Athlon 2100+ at 2.0ghz
Memory: 256 mb of DDR Viking (Don't laugh) memory
Hard Drive: 60 GB Maxtor Hard Drive
And a generic CD Rom Drive.
Pentium 4 2.66 Ghz
512 MB (PC2700) DDR
80 gig HD
64 MB Geforce 4 440 MX video card (to be ungraded very soon)
creative sound blaster audigy sound card
50x24x50 CD rewriter.
Did you build it or buy it?
Built:
Pentium 4 Processor 2.66 Ghz
1 gig of memory
200 gig hardrive
Uh.... my CD drive..... is black. :p
ATI Radeon 9600 Pro
Windows XP Pro
How much was the video card?
AMD Athlon 2200+ Processor. [1.8 Ghz] To be upgraded soon, hopefully.
LeakTek A350 126mb graphics card.
512mb RAM. To be upgraded soon.
Some rubbish Cd drive, I really need a new one.

i usually build, my last two computers were built. but i actually brought that one. it was a deal that was too good to turn down. plus it came with lots of other stuff, like a printer and scanner, which i didn't need so i sold them off and made some money back. that and selling my old computer meant that i got it so cheap it was ridiculous :D
Nice. Is the computer a local brand or something?
Nobody cares, so I'll add my own pointless contribution, just for fun's sake...
AMD Athlon 2400XP+
256 mb pc133 sdram
ATI All-In-Wonder 9600 AGP (128 mb DDR)
Soundblaster Live! soundcard
Windows 2000 Professional
And yes, this is my system from mid-2000 upgraded. It should be adequate for the next crop of Star Wars games. It won't play Doom3 very well I'm sure, but that doesn't bother me.
Only thing that bugs me is the company that built my scanner (Agfa) apparently got out of the scanner business and so they've stopped supporting the model I own, meaning no driver updates (and it currently won't even detect for me!).
As for Republic Commando (or any game) if it meets or exceeds the min. recommended system specs for a game, then I wouldn't worry too much.
AMD Athlon64 3000+ 400MHz FSB Processor
Asus K8V Deluxe Motherboard
120 GB Serial ATA Hard Drive, 7200 RPM
512MB PC3200 400MHz DDR Memory
nVidia GeForceFX 5700 Ultra 128MB Graphics
16X DVD-ROM Drive (48x CDROM)
52x32x52 CD-RW Drive
Logitech Optical Wheel Mouse
Logitech Internet Keyboard
1.44MB Floppy Drive
Mid Tower Case
350 Watt Enermax Power Supply
Microsoft Windows XP Home
System Recovery DVD
Gigabit Ethernet 1000Mbps Network Port
Audigy 2 soundcard
creative 5.1 surround speakers.
I'll be getting the new comp in december.
Why do you need a new comp IS?
Maybe upgrade the OS, but it looks fine from there :)
Crazy people.
Built:
AIW Radeon 9700 Pro
AMD Athlon +2200
256mb PC2700 333mhz DDR Memory
XtremeFlat 19" Monitor
DVD ROM
Micro$oft 5 button mouse
Creative 5.1 Surround sond speakers (can only use 2 because dad doesn't want the rest  I spen $50 on them..)
Win2K Pro
those are the specs for the computer I'm getting in december is what I meant.
P4 2.3 ghz
Hard drive 40+60 gb
dvd reader, cd rw (re)writer
ati radeon 9800 pro
1 gig ram
the pc is 2 years old, except the new ram, gfx card and 40gig HD aint
Ha! I think I win the slowest processor award so far: Pentium !!! 800 MHz. We got this computer 2000, but pretty much everything else is upgraded:
GeForce FX 5200 128 MB
384 MB RAM
40/12/48x CD-RW (as if CD-ROM speed were a factor these days--I can still remember back to when it was)
40+80 GB, but only 10 GB I can use because my dad partitioned the second HD, and filled the partition I can use with backups of the first HD)
17" CRT that's older than my PC
Win98
SoundBlaster Live!
the other obvious hardware
Of course, by the time RC comes out and I get around to buying it (assuming I do), I'll probably be at college and have a new computer. The only thing I'd worry about for it running on my current system is the CPU, but I'd say there's a 50% chance it'd run perfectly. I can run the Far Cry demo at 1024x768, but I can't get the MOH:PA demo to run above 15 fps at the lowest settings.
Edit: Pentium !!!=Pentium 3. The logo actually has exclamation marks, in case you didn't know (you probably did).
Built it about 18 months ago.
19" Samsung monitor
AMD 1800+
Nvidia Fx5200 128 MB
512 MB RAM
120 GB Maxtor harddrive
200 GB Maxtor harddrive
Asus CD-R burner 48x
Next PC related buy will probably be a Nvidia 6800 graphicscard next year, and an Asus DVD-R burner next year too. When the CPU and RAM will be sluggish, in about a year or two, I'll probably buy a new mainboard/cpu/ram and use the current chassi.

But would anyone really need that much?
I never heard of anything over 1. :p

I never heard of anything over 1. :p if you do a lot of video work and digital artwork, it's very much needed.
Probably gonna need that much if you get a nVIDIA Quadro FX3000, which is like the highest end graphics card for 3D and digital rendering.
*is desperately trying to pry one away from his uncle*
Oh btw, I have a full tower, so everytime I take it anywhere people are always gawking at it like "whoa, that thing is huge!"
I normally use it with the sides off and a fan blowing not far off (don't have to cool it like the days of the overclocked monster I used to have, but never hurts).
; )
Hopefully by Christmas build #2 will come under way.

I'm hoping next year to get a desktop. After I've made money on my summer job.
I'm still stuck with the same 4.5 year old rig at the moment. I keep forgetting to feed the hamster, so sometimes it dies when I try something too demanding.
Suffice to say, I will probably need a new rig to play RC, especially considering it uses the Unreal engine - which these days has become something of a resource hog.
Ah well...
Its a Dell Dimension 4600...hoping to get a real Video card....
Pentuim[R] 4 CPU 2.80GHz
512 MB Ram
Regular crappy Video and Sound...Its a work pc not a gamming..:(
Current:
P3 1.0 GHz (Proccesor)
nVidia Riva TNT2 Model 64 (Video)
Creative Vibra 128 (Sound)
Logitech Optical Mouse
Samsung SW-420 40X CDRW
Creative infra 52X CD-ROM
512 MB RAM
Intel 815 Chipset-based Motherboard
4X AGP
Upgrades:
P4 (2.0)?
nVidia GeForce 5900/6600
1 GB RAM
Intel 875/925 Chipset

P4 3.4 GHz w/ hyperthreading
1 GB RAM (PC3200 DDR)
80 GB 5400RPM HDD
Radeon 9700 w/ 256 MB RAM
17" widescreen LCD
Not bad for a laptop, although I wouldn't quite call it that. It's only 10 lbs and lasts about an hour on battery running some less CPU intensive things. I can't wait to build my desktop, though. I was actually considering picking up some old K6 chips and making a server or something out of the resulting machine, but I should probably make something that won't burn when I game.
AMD 64 Athlon, perhaps 3-4 GHz
