What we have here is a perfect example of the evils of walkthroughs. The reason you can't get the pass from Charlie yet is that Manny doesn't yet have a reason to start the conversation that leads to it. What you want to do is to go down to the dock...  [Read More]

And what on Earth would you need cheats for? Unlimited ammo? You've got that anyway. Manny can blast away at Hector forever (and miss every time). I think our bridge-haunting friend's gaming experience is limited to shooters to have the opinion he d...  [Read More]

That might work. Worth a shot, anyway. I wonder, though, about the 'health' of the system. Even if GF is the only program that seems to be behaving strangely, I might suspect that it might be a Windows problem IF it's an old installation (a year or s...  [Read More]

I've never even heard of this problem. I kinda doubt the patch will help (certainly won't hurt, though)....  [Read More]

*Reaching back into possibly not-to-reliable memories* I'm sure they use quite a lot of programs. Since you're talking about background art, I'm sure they do a lot with Photoshop but with at least some games the backgrounds start as scanned artwork....  [Read More]

I think the soundtrack CD is no longer available. There's nothing that will emulate the looping that I know of. If you play around with SR some you will find that there is looping info along with the music. If you expand a music entry you see an iMU...  [Read More]

Annihilation is one option. (In fact, that's what actually happens to the soul after its four-year journey in Aztec mythology.) The other possibility is, I think, that the soul remains conscious but is incapable of any action...and therefore in great...  [Read More]

If you want all of the dialog, there's another way to get it. It's not exactly pretty and it's not in a script format, but it's more than complete. In the game's folder (and in the Grimdata folder on disk A) there is a file called grim.tab. You can...  [Read More]

My computer specs are similar to yours. There's no speed issue with the tumblers. Tall Guy is telling you what you need. And he's right: the flat sides of the tumblers face right. If you want, I can send you a screeshot of the correct alignment (I've...  [Read More]

You might be screwed. I don't know. It might depend on whether or not you've got SB16 emulation working. You need to have emm386 loading at startup for that to work correctly. But I'm doubtful that really matters....  [Read More]
