Very good choice of planet there.;) It looks good. It's great that modders can create custom vehicles now....  [Read More]

Definitely SP first. That way, you get a chance to rest when you've cleared a room of enemies and you can reflect on what strategies were effective and were not effective. Fighting saber wielding foes in SP is good practice for the duels and saber-or...  [Read More]

Yeah, on the second Kejim mission on JO, if you use noclip, you can find Kyle, Jan and Mon Mothma standing in the room on "Coruscant" where the end-of-level cutscene is. It's funny, though, because it looks like a hold-up; Kyle and Jan have...  [Read More]

Personally, I think the kick is only useful in SP mode. In MP, it's practically worthless. A player wanted to try it out on me (it was his first time) so I let him kick me. It only took away 2 HP and didn't even knock over my character. Hopefully,...  [Read More]

Ooh, that sounds fun. Sometimes I'll ride full speed towards a mountain or obstacle, slam on the brakes, and watch as my pusuers smash headlong into it.:D...  [Read More]
Kashyyk would be a fun map. Bioware was able to pull it off in KOTOR, after all. Rodia would be interesting as well. I read that they have some nasty predators, though. (hence why so many Rodians become marksmen and bounty hunters) Unfortunately, Rav...  [Read More]
Ah, yes, the Kel Dor species. Y'know, I never quite understood why Plo Koon became so popular. Sure, he's cool looking, but he really doesn't play that big of a role in the movies. We only rarely see him in action, maybe igniting his saber (which I n...  [Read More]

I like being the Scout. There's nothing quite like sniping an opponent who's manning a turbolaser pinning my teammates down, or killing the enemy Scout who almost had a bead on me. That, and Jedi can't block my disruptor shots. ;)...  [Read More]
Well, if I remember correctly, the higher the difficulty, the better the enemy's aim becomes, there's more enemies, you lose more health with hits, blaster bolts travel faster, and recharge stations and ammo pickups give less. Jedi Master is essentia...  [Read More]

Keep in mind that all casual Star Wars fans or folks who've only watched the movies have always seen Sith lords with a "Darth" before their name. To omit the title would confuse many gamers and perhaps detract from the Star Wars feel to it....  [Read More]

Comparing an RPG with a FPS is like comparing apples and oranges if you ask me... That being said, I've heard about the saber combat moves in KOTOR. (never actually seen it) If Galaxies could pull off something similar, it might work out. Otherwise,...  [Read More]

Well, Kurgan, I didn't take the lag into account, but it seemed wierd at the time. I suppose getting used to all the new saber types and moves have to be taken into account as well. It does use a heavily modified JO code, after all. Guess it was just...  [Read More]

I think what they need is a damage recognization patch. One time I roll-stabbed directly into someone, and I DIDN'T EVEN TAKE OFF 1 HP! Another time I swung my saber and scored a hit without the saber even brushing my opponent. I don't care as much a...  [Read More]

Well, the plot doesn't quite flow the same as previous incarnations of the series, due to the nonlinear nature of the missions. That's not saying it's bad, though, just different. There's still a feeling of progression. The story is quite good, it's...  [Read More]

I usually tend to shy away from threads like this, as everyone has different views of honor and gameplay. That said, yes, JA MP is like JO MP in the players. It has its good and bad parts to it, but you just gotta enjoy the game for what it is and no...  [Read More]
