i know this problem, its caused by a fault in the skeleton naming. if you compile a player model with the JO _humanoid.gla file there is no 'lhang_tag_bone', the same bone in the skeleton is named 'lhand_tag_bone'. but you cant weight the bolt_lhand...  [Read More]

we got the problem solved! it was the new assimilate/carcass from the JA SDK. it seems not to work the way i wrote the tutorial on how to port vehicles in JA. if you want fo follow the tutorial you have to use the old assimilate/carcass from the JO S...  [Read More]

None that i know of, that wouldnt lose any information. you can save it as XSI the animations and meshes will be there but thne bones turned into dummies when loading back into 3ds max. to pass mashes i normaly use md3 format, the mesh and sknimap st...  [Read More]
