Yeah, I hope to find out some more about these "multiplayer game modes" (as the box so teasingly calls them) before the weekend when I get my copy....  [Read More]

At first I'd agree with the complaint that it's not 'really a spoiler' BUT I haven't seen the full game yet, so I could be wrong. I also agree that's it's not wise to upset a moderator! Battledroids don't pull people's arms out of their sockets wh...  [Read More]

Chop Shop is great, but we can't ALL go there at once, Amidala isn't the only one running a "real" gameplay server. I've got one, and RazorAce just opened one (see today's news), for example. There's more, check that thread about "F...  [Read More]

If you want a much better admin mod than JA+, try Xmod2 (http://xmod2.sourceforge.net/) If you want a server replacement that adds great new features and fixes, and IS NOT abusive and unbalancing (screwing with gameplay) then try OJP (http://ojp.jed...  [Read More]

It uses GOBs? Oh man that brings back memories... just like Jedi Knight/Mysteries of the Sith! (May not be anywhere close to the same format, despite the name though, I'm just guessing). You could try pakscape, or possibly rename the files to pk3...  [Read More]

The biggest reason I'm hoping for good MP is because it's all the RC I'll allow myself to play until I've seen ROTS (other than the demo level of course, which I've already played)....  [Read More]

More details about Assault game mode, though they were less than impressed with MP overall (as have been all the other reviewers so far): The game does include a multiplayer aspect on both the PC and Xbox platforms. Unfortunately, the multiplayer is...  [Read More]

Btw, you should know that the extra taunts (bow, meditate, flourish, gloat) don't work in all game modes. They work in Single Player, Duel, and Power Duel, that's it. However many mods have made them usable in other game modes "for fun,"...  [Read More]

To that I say "who cares." If you want your mod only to be popular, then you should only mod for popular games, and only while they are still popular! I remember how the dedicated JK/MotS community made tons of (many quite good quality)...  [Read More]

IIRC, if you set it above 3 you'll notice no difference. So you could set it to 9999999 but it would be the same as 3. Cg_dismember is for Multiplayer, what YOU see on your end. If a server has g_dismember set (1 meaning it's on), then you have to...  [Read More]
