I'm sure there's people who beat it the day they got it, in one sitting. That is always true of any FPS game that gets released. Considering how short some of the SP campaigns of them are though, that isn't too surprising. But not all of us are so hy...  [Read More]

Are there even any maps designed for that many players? Sounds like it would be pretty crowded. Honestly you'd have the entire SWBF1 community in one game to have that many. Not sure about part 2. ;) Most people simply don't have the resources to...  [Read More]

64 players is the max you can host a server with. However, no way in heck are going to be able to realistically host that many people on your box unless you have a killer machine and super sweet line (or on a LAN). There's no linux dedicated serve...  [Read More]

There are a total of 89 maps (counting the different modes and factions) in SWBF2 I think you missed a couple :roleyess:. Did you read the file? I didn't list every possible combination, I listed every map in the game alongside every game mode it s...  [Read More]

Here's some files I whipped up. There are two generic bat files (edit them to your liking) for hosting servers (both dedicated and non-dedicated) for the full version: Dedicated Server Template (http://www.swbattlefront.net/nitpicker/generic.bat)...  [Read More]

Just like the previous game, apparently on the consoles you could have two players working together vs. the enemy in GC, but on the PC, it's SP only. Lame......  [Read More]

Sadly the Jedi battles in this game pretty much suck. It's hack and slash with a "block" toggle that runs out fast due to it draining your "energy" (stamina) bar. If you want online Jedi dueling I point you instead to the Jedi Kn...  [Read More]

Are you trying to run a dedicated server through a batch file? The "FATAL" error indicates you've typed in incorrect line in the batch file. Check the line where the word is mentioned (as shown in the fatal error message). Usually it's a...  [Read More]

Well the Frigates do attack you (they're weak) and you can destroy them. Perhaps that's what he refers to. I don't remember any "illusionary" ships except in the skies on the ground maps, but maybe I wasn't paying close enough attention. ;)...  [Read More]

Could be. Not everything you see in previews ends up in the full game. Though those particular shots don't show anything too unusual.. am I missing something? The frigates (that you can't board) might be being mistaken for the larger ships, is that...  [Read More]

Were there cheats for SWBF1? Most games have cheats, simply because they so useful for testing, and since removing them is more work than leaving them in and people tend to enjoy messing with them... LA's tradition has been to wait a long long long...  [Read More]
