I've set up a few different batch files, with different game types but never can I have a higher count than 150 a side. Although all the posts say use map name then re-enforcement (or ticket count).
Example; uta1g_con 200 200
But if I crank that number up I never get more, in fact I never achieve even 200 a side. Anybody know if this part of the command line argument is even read while loading? It seems to have no effect.
Thanks in advance!
Are you running a Dedicated or not?
Not dedicated, must I be?
Well all the People Hosting Non-Dedicated (or at least most of them) Have Problems with Changing the Tickets
Damn, well that's why then, I have a second PC but it is running win98 (not SE). So after I installed it on there, it wouldn't launch....guess I'm sh*t out of luck for now. Hopefully I'll get off my lazy butt and install win2000 or xp on that sucker so I can resolve this issue... Thanks for your help Chris-h11.
You can host a Dedicated and Join it but it might lag
You mean "online" rather than LAN right? Or do you mean create a LAN game dedicated server then in a seperate processs join it ? On the same PC? I don't think the second option would work so well.
Lan or Internet just Host the Server then Open the Game up Regularly And Join It
Whow hooo what do you know, that works!! I didn't notice any lag either!! Sweet now I can crank up the tickets and play till the (insert cliche:-)!! That's sweet, hopefully this will work when the full version comes out, I imagine it will. Thanks again Chris-h11!
Glad I helped, No Problem
Looks like the tickets can range from 10 to 500. ;)
A 10 point match?
Maybe for something like a Deathmatch
