To my knowledge, effects are fairly hard-coded. New beams, for certain, aren't possible. I'm not quite sure what you mean by 'FX locations', though. I assume you mean things like the Dxun Temple's big, glowing red ball/red lightning during the ritual...  [Read More]

To your first question, Drewton, I would say not, unfortunately. That would require re-mapping the texture application in 3ds/GMax and re-exporting, which would almost certainly screw up the area models, I'm afraid. You might be able to achieve some...  [Read More]

No, you're not the only one, in spite of the the rather vociferous pro-voices you'll find in this particular part of LF. However, as shown by the current KotORFiles (http://knightsoftheoldrepublic.filefront.com/poll/) poll, a lot of KotOR fans would...  [Read More]

Neither the technique nor the execution of these skins can be held to be worthy of praise, I fear. The deficiency in taste is a further issue in assessing how to suggest improvement. But I do have a few suggestions for questions to ask yourself: 1....  [Read More]

Add to that displays of utter contempt by appointing ill-qualified ministers as Defence Secretaries, and I think you're on the money with that one. True, but then Blair also appointed a Secretary of State for Education and Skills (reign of terror las...  [Read More]
