Yes, ladies, gentlemen, both, other, and none, it's that time of the year again, and while Pavlos can't be here tonight owing to a tragic surfeit of frogs, it gives me great pleasure to announce to you tonight the StarWarsKnights.com 2009 Spud of the Year Competition!

(Insert cheesy canned applause and horrid music here.)

The nominations have now closed, and boy, what a line-up do we have for you! After nearly seven years, the KotOR modding community is still going strong, that's for sure! In the KotOR I section, the 2009 entrants are:

Brotherhood of Shadow: Solomon's Revenge (http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?t=197864) by Silveredge9

Revan's Flowing Cape and Belt 1.0 (http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?t=198716) by SithSpecter

Bastila's Revealing Gold Trimmed Robes (http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?t=202060) by Tangster

Combat Suit Uniforms for Various Organizations (http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?t=197346) by redrob41

HK-47 - Assassin Droid (http://lucasforums.com/showthread.php?t=196204) by Drewton

Revenge of the Sith Clone Armors (http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?t=199923) by -DK-, MarcusLeCoy, Dark_Cuillere, Ruku, SoM3, BryanWee, and VarsityPuppet.

Yinchorr Dueling Sword (http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?t=200191) by SithSpecter

Visual Enhancement Mod 2009 Final (http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?t=198801) by Xarwarz

K1 Force Pack 2.0 (http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?t=195151) by Star Admiral

K1 Party Portrait Pack (http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?t=201235) by Marius Fett

Darth Malak - Dark Lord of the Sith by Drewton was not entered into the voting since it was already entered into the 2008 Mod of the Year competition and was released in that year.

Evidently Pavlos and I made a mistake and wrote the rubrics in Akkadian cuneiform again by mistake, which explains why some of you didn't pay any attention to them.

The voting is now open, so get at it. Votes will close in one week on Tuesday,February 2nd 2010.

And may the best mod win!

For me it's an extremely tough choice between BOSSR and Revan's Flowing Cape and Belt. Both are staggering feats of KOTOR modding, and we're (to my understanding) a complete headache to build for their respective designers.

I went with the Yinchorr Dueling Sword. I use it with my personal skins and models. :D

I went with the Flowing Cape; mainly as due the inane boredom Sithspectre must of had to endure making endless frames my 2 cents...

Same as J7, SS did an awesome job on that Revan model. I wouldn't have done 16.000+ frames... o_O

It was a tough decision between Revan's Flowing Cape and Belt and BOS:SR. If I could have voted for both, I would have. But I ended up voting for the Revan mod because of the utter persistence to complete the mod and continue to improve it as well. Not many people would have taken on such a project, let alone finish it.

Got to go with BOS:SR myself, but massive shout-out to the Revan Cape project. i just haven't been able to try that out yet (sad face) because i don't have KOTOR installed...

I know this suggestion is late, but you probably could've made two separate polls, one for BOSSR vs RFC&B, and one for all the others as runners up. I know that my own little mod hasn't got a hope against those two juggernaughts (but I'm ok with that, 'cause they deserve their kudos :))

I vote for Revan's Cape and Belt… it is something really big and different from all those things like BOSSR and things like that. SS did a milestone in modding.

Hmmmm...I have to go with Revan flowing cape and belt, but BOS: SR is not that far behind. I have never actually played through all of it but it is still cool.
