Is it linked? Stuff not linked will disappear no? As long as it was made an editable mesh it shouldn't matter what sort of primitive you started out with. It's all the same once it has been converted to verts and polys....  [Read More]

2DA mods aren't limited to new rows. Often they invole changes to existing rows. You might want to look at converting any old mods that involve edited 2DAs to TSLPatcher. I do that for any such old mods I use to make them as compatible as possible....  [Read More]

You didn't use the right blade name in the first example by the sounds of it. You need to replace "w_lsabrered01" with "w_lsabregren01". There are 4 instances of it in single hilts, 8 in double hilts....  [Read More]

There are two options. Rename it to the hilt you want to replace and hex edit the MDL to use the green blade texture or extract the mesh and recompile it with the hilt you want to replace....  [Read More]

Yeah the original mesh was around 1100, but if you look at the edit I made to that post you'll see that I revised the mesh and dropped the poly count down significantly. It's actually one of the lower poly count sabers I've done....  [Read More]

Thanks, but I'm pretty happy with it at 773 polys. Dropping the spheres would only lose about 50 polys, so it's not worth the hassle to bother with. I'm pretty much done with it - just need to do some testing and then I'll release it. did you lose...  [Read More]

My 4850 doesn't like the character creation screen of either K1 or TSL. It causes the GPU to become non-responsive requiring a system reset. Only way to play either game is to start from a save made on another machine. I have a scoundrel save for K1...  [Read More]
