That would be Xarwarz's "Graphical Enhancement" mod. Not sure why, but he considers that an improvement over the base texture. Make sure you also kill KOR_Ehok.tga if you installed the Korriban texture pack....  [Read More]

Whoops, forgot the d-ring to hang it from my belt (not that anyone in either game actually seems interested in letting go of their weapons). http://i374.photobucket.com/albums/oo185/DarthParametric/th_Luke-ANH-Saber-03.jpg (http://i374.photobucket.c...  [Read More]

Could you by chance add this saber (http://www.parksabers.com/doublehelix.html)to your wip(s)?Keep an eye on TriggerGod's WIP thread (http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?t=192692). There's a couple of hilts there that are very similar. Most are...  [Read More]

So it seems I might as well join in on all the fun and make my own WIP thread. I'm working on a couple of sabers atm. There's Starkiller's saber from the Force Unleashed that I started a while back in response to a thread (http://www.lucasforums.co...  [Read More]

Perhaps I'm a little unobservant, but what exactly did you change?Took the RGB layer from your file and pasted it into another file extracted from the game. I guess you changed something at some point that it didn't like, but I'm not sure what exactl...  [Read More]

Hrmm...looks like it should be fine. Try this version - iw_SbrCrstl_005.tga (17 KB) (http://d.imagehost.org/download/0454/iw_SbrCrstl_005.tga) Texture settings won't make a difference. Icons are so small they only come in one size. Plus anything in...  [Read More]

KOTOR Tool only loads the original game files, not anything in the Override folder. If you want to edit the UTI you'll have to manually load it in KT by going to File->Open GFF Files. It will then open it using the in-built item editor....  [Read More]

You'll need a UTI file for the game to recognise it as a new item. Assuming it's a pre-existing mod and you have all the proper files in your Override folder then use KSE to edit a save file and add it to your inventory....  [Read More]

When you get a white square in the inventory screen it means you are missing the icon texture for that particular item. Doesn't sound like you deleted everything from your Override folder. It must be a custom item which would mean the game would cras...  [Read More]

Ah. When you said Grenn I assumed it must have happened on Citadel Station after the Ravager. Whatever the timing and place of Bao-Dur's actual disappearance though, I assume that Grenn telling you happens on Citadel Station....  [Read More]

Ok guys, you all know no one knows what happens to our favorite whispering Zabrak Jedi after you leave Dantoine the final time, and that Lt. Grenn says Bao-Dur is missing. Hrmm...I don't recall him ever saying that. Is that a LS only thing? By the...  [Read More]

It pretty common to have flipped normals from an .obj in maxI can export OBJ files from C4D and the normals are perfectly fine in GMax. I suspect the problem is his modelling technique. If sketch up can export as .3ds I would look for the .3ds impor...  [Read More]

OK so I imported it into C4D and the OBJ export looks like it worked fine. However, a quick look in polygon mode revealed two problems: http://i374.photobucket.com/albums/oo185/DarthParametric/th_Module-OBJ.jpg (http://i374.photobucket.com/albums/oo...  [Read More]

Apparently so. Could be the way the export plugin works - it might not like unconnected polys. Upload the OBJ here - http://imagehost.org/ - and post the link. I'll see if it's any different in another app....  [Read More]

Very difficult to make much out in those pics, but my guess is none (or most) of the polys in your original Sketchup were not connected. You can clearly see overlapping polys in the ramp section of the Sketchup pic....  [Read More]

Ahah! Thanks svцsh, that seems to have cracked it. The hand positioning still needs some fine tuning, but it's more or less where it needs to be: http://i374.photobucket.com/albums/oo185/DarthParametric/th_SK-Hilt-Position-WIP.jpg (http://i374.phot...  [Read More]

Hrmm...well I'll try again using those suggestions. Tried without it but have to use resetxform or the hilt ends up upside down. By the way, as well as the two poly planes that have the saber blade texture (plane267 and plane268 in the case of the...  [Read More]

Nope, no luck. Whatever way I do it, it just won't keep the vertically adjusted pivot point after being run through MDLOps replacer. Always goes back to the same pivot position of the hilt it replaces. This is being done in GMax with NWMax 0.7 and MD...  [Read More]
