25th eh? I guess that means the PC version will arrive here in the UK about next weekend...going by 3-5 business days. Kind of annoying, but I shouldn't really be playing Psychonauts before next weekend anyway, I have lots of work to get out of the...  [Read More]

As much as I want to Double Fine to recruit a pony for their art team, I think those are probably right who say it will be a company store. If they ship to the UK, I'll probably buy everything there is. Posters, action figures, 2HB t-shirts, mugs in...  [Read More]

Oh yeah, sorry Huz, didn't mean to scare you. No, I am not a deranged fan. I'm Simon, you might remember me from #monkey-island or the Monkey Island newsgroup or something like that ages ago, but I can't remember what my handle was. I've just been lu...  [Read More]

It's becoming clear to me now that the European release will probably come some time after the US (? (http://shop.gameplay.co.uk/webstore/productpage.asp?productcode=XB0435)). Keen as I am to get my hands on Psychonauts PC pronto, I'm looking to impo...  [Read More]

It's mentioned a few times that Manny is working off a 'debt' at the DOD. I think one of the most interesting unanswered questions in Grim is, what exactly did Manny do wrong in his life to deserve this debt? The story is cooler for never telling u...  [Read More]

Fantastic news! A collected Sam & Max volume I won't have to pay Ј40 for over eBay. What's more exciting, brand new Sam & Max stories! Best news in weeks. Also, great that Chris got to meet Mike Mignola, that guy is very cool and a great ta...  [Read More]

Until the last time I played through Grim again (a few weeks ago) I missed the complete chanting with the sea bees in Rubacava. Every time I play it seem to find some neat line I'd missed before, or at least a line or puzzle I'd forgotten about. It...  [Read More]

It's got perhaps the best dialogue in a game ever, so it's hard to pick out any one conversation. Some that spring to mind: - Membrillo is a great character to talk to, and his poem when you finish with him is pretty neat. - Carla's story - Manny wi...  [Read More]

I'm getting back into my comics, reading lots of webcomics again and of course the old Sam & Max stuff. I was wondering if anyone could recommend other comics for a Sam & Max fan... I'm not really a big fan of the really serious comics, the...  [Read More]

I always assumed the 'upstairs' thing was just a little joke without any backstory to explain it, but maybe something happens in a comic story (I haven't got a complete collection yet). As for beating the game, with adventure games I don't really tr...  [Read More]

Excellent! Nice work. I check out PvP a few times a week, I get the impression its a very popular strip. This will definitely get the word out a bit more, and as you say, surely it can only help the cause. I wonder if Scott will actually fit it into...  [Read More]

Well, I enjoyed your comic, it's a cool story. I'd have like to see it in colour and perhaps with some clearer drawings, so that you could tell it's Mordor, even if Sam And Max hadn't told you. The LOTR scenes have a distinctive look I'm sure culd b...  [Read More]

I patched the original version from the release with the fix for the forklift etc., I think it was the only patch they did. Then I did the .LAB copying thing so I could run the game with fast loading and without using the CDs. I'm running Windows 20...  [Read More]

I just started replaying Grim, and at one point in El Marrow I was trying to run and put away some pigeon eggs at the same time, when suddenly I ended up halfway through year 4! I worked out that pressing shift and P together triggered this odd time...  [Read More]
