brain-teasing clues about The Announcement:
1) It is rad.
2) It is going to be something you can start messing with THIS COMING TUESDAY.
3) It will cost you money.
4) You will not mind.
It almost sounds like it's Psychonauts, but that wouldn't be a big announcement. We all know that it's coming out on tuesday, right? right?!
Any thoughts?
Someone in the Mojo comments thread suggested it might be the soundtrack. It's a good guess, because that would own. I don't know if it's pants-crapworthy though.

The "messing with" part wouldn't really go with the soundtrack idea I don't think. Maaaaaaaaybe some sort of level editor for Psychonauts? Doesn't make much more sense either. I'm stumped!
The promised soundtrack would probably be a good bet, but Gabez's point is valid.. it's really not something you'd use in relation to "mess with".

Well, seeing as how this is supposed to be something "rad," I don't see how it could be the last one.
For the record, here's what I came up with that made the most sense (although I don't see how it's something we could "mess with"):
"foist celery upon abdomen" = DoubleFine company store?
That last one sounds feasible enough.
I'd imagine that said store would contain more than just the presumed hats/cups/shirts merchandise though, considering all of the hype. The soundtrack will almost certainly be on there, and maybe even Psychonauts action figures? Schafer once expressed in an interview that he wouldn't be against the idea of such things.
If we didn't have the r the m and e and instead had an s, y, h, u, t, and another s then we could have Psychonauts OST!

Screw the merch, I just want the game - which is still to have any sort of release scheduled for New Zealand. If it is a company store, they'd better ship software internationally.
Seeing that Double Fine doesn't distribute the game, I doubt you'll see them selling it.
Tim is reading 'The Da Vinci Code', after that, If I had to bet, I would say that none of us can even imagine what Tim is going to announce.

He did go to the trouble of finding an anagram for it, so there probably is going to be one. Otherwise, keep on the lookout for an art pony.
As much as I want to Double Fine to recruit a pony for their art team, I think those are probably right who say it will be a company store. If they ship to the UK, I'll probably buy everything there is. Posters, action figures, 2HB t-shirts, mugs in the shape of Coach Oleander's head, etc. I think I'd be a sucker for absolutely any merchandise they've got to offer.
