I don't suppose you'll be making new textures to make the game a bit darker like ANH or ESB. Will this mod be based more on the original trilogy, or the new movies?...  [Read More]

I like that "civil dispute" idea, but I get a gut feeling that this WILL be a big huge galaxy saving- style storyline, just based on what I've seen in the last JK games....  [Read More]

What would you define games like Splinter Cell as? Action? No. These kind of in-between games should not be crammed into genres where they don't fit....  [Read More]

JO is different, though. It puts an emphasis on the sabers. If you put swords in quake 3, you would just stand there hacking at each other with one move until one of you died. JO is not the same game, not even close....  [Read More]

I found JO to be sort of a mix of Bushido Blade style fighter and 3rd person action game, but it all depends on how you play/percieve the game....  [Read More]

Yeah, it should kill. But you just shouldn't be able to use it exclusively. I found that it made the game a lot harder if you try not to use it....  [Read More]

Saber throw should just have some kind of limiting factor, thats all. I don't know how to inplement a reasonable one, but you just shouldn't be able to clear a level using only saber throw, like in the Nar Shaddaa levels in JO....  [Read More]

I fell that throwing the lightsaber should be removed from the game and secondary fire should become Maul-esque kicks. Saber throw should only be included as a separate force power that drains alot of SOMETHING. It's just too damn powerful. Besides,...  [Read More]

Hold on, folks. I never said the maps should be random (that would be ugly), just that new objectives and mini-quest style stuff should be, this way you never can really beat the game. Sorta like the Sims, but NOT....  [Read More]
Yeah, I hear you. Im not in any position of higher knowledge or anything, but licensing game engines probably costs a bundle; maybe that's why mods are such a great source of good gameplay: the don't waste time with that BS (and they have half the wo...  [Read More]
Thats exactly what I'm thinking. IMO, what the industry really needs is a brand new project that would up the ante some. And I don't want to hear that something like that would be too expensive, people make games for free in the form of MODS. I for o...  [Read More]

I like the idea of a new conc gun, but I'm concerned about its role in the game. If the developers alter some important parts of the game, but not others, game balance could be compromised. I hope this will be adressed before any really important cha...  [Read More]

Yes, but what about when you've cleared the level, found the keys, and have to look for that one door that you can't seem to find. Remember Descent? In that game a map was a necessesity. I think that a compass would be useful, but to give away enemy...  [Read More]

That's true. Too bad it had too get mixed up with poor acting, shameful new characters, and a general lack of class. Nevertheless, I'm still going to pay top dollar to see the next one. -PS-My favorite new character would have to be Kit Fisto. He's...  [Read More]

I agree that is is different, but I can't help but think that that was an intentional addition. At one part it shows this angle where the sun is behind the creature and it looks almost EXACTLY like the opening cutscene from broodwar. It's this kind o...  [Read More]

Ok, i'll admit I shouldn't have said there was less gore in the new movies. What I meant was that there was a less dark atmosphere. Besides, the constant action in AotC really made it hard to pay attention to stuff like that, for me anyway. -PS- Wha...  [Read More]

EU is important. Think about it, half the stuff that Lucas wanted in his movies was likely thrown out long before the movies were made. I think that EU in general should be upheld, not just the novels. For example, Han Solo shouldn't die and Chewbacc...  [Read More]

My opinion on the whole topic of game continuity is as follows: The game MUST follow the timeline. To do otherwise shows a lack of creativity. It's not hard to make up NEW characters for games and I don't think anyone really cares if Luke Skywalker d...  [Read More]
