Well, we've seen enough folk interested in coding come around to know a thing or two about your question. Are you serious about coding? It's just C, except without pretty much any of the standard library available. Read a few C tutorials, bone up on...  [Read More]

This is a coding forum. As a coder, I don't care about 'glow' this, or 'bind' that, necessarily, only as far as it pertains to code. We see an awful lot of 'non-code' topics in this JA Coding forum - there really shouldn't be any, as 'code' remains...  [Read More]

Currently milkshape can edit player models, but not really export them for ingame use - 3dsm would have to do it (or XSI, methinx) Anyway, I thought Emon wrote a hilt tut for MilkShape ......  [Read More]

Using modview requires semi accurate paths The path to the model must have 'base' in it, ie C:\JKA\base\models\players\alora2\model.glm The file path is switched to 'base' (just like with JKA and virtually all Q3 engine games, there is a necessary...  [Read More]

You can move the player model around in Modview - I forget which keys, use the mouse buttons and SHIFT or ALT, if i recall. You can move the model 'closer' so you'll get more detail. If you want to see only one part of the skin, make custom skins an...  [Read More]
