I honestly don't know what sampling bit rates are supported by JKA. Just open one of them up in a sound player like winamp. There's normally information on the bit rate somewhere. And I assume you can chagne the bit rate with some sort of sound edit...  [Read More]

You need to learn modview. This is really the only way you'll figure it out. Modview is in with the other stuff in the JKA SDK. Anyway, the animations you're looking for is the BOTH_SABER***_STANCE series....  [Read More]

I can't really comment since I haven't looked at that area in a while. What's the menudef for those buttons? Also, here's a good tutorial on menu files (http://linux.ucla.edu/~phaethon/q3tamenu/q3tamenu.html#toc16)....  [Read More]

I've heard of it but I'm not interested. The shear amount of work it would take to port the saber system to Far Cry would be insane for a mod (read, free) project and would be very likely to get you in trouble with LucasLegal since everything is ba...  [Read More]

Well, that's what WLS claimed. I don't know how true that was. However, I do know that the entity limits for MP and SP JKA are exactly the same. In addition, most of the map entity limit tends to be taken up by entities that are deleted immediately o...  [Read More]

t2_wedge, taspir1, taspir2, hoth2, and t3_stamp have been submitted. Thanks guys! You know. Once we got JKA done, we might want to do JK2 as well. Afterall, the scripting and AI is basically the same. Secondly, about an additional campaign. Maybe w...  [Read More]

NOTE: Do not alter the tags on sets that aren't camera functions that you converted. You'll totally break the tag system for everything other than cameras. If you did alter the non-camera tags, you're going to have to resubmit your work....  [Read More]
