If the CD looks genuine, then I guess it's an "official patched version". Otherwise, someone could have patched it. Anyway, like Dom_152 said, it's not a big deal. As long as the game works both offline and online, it's all good :)...  [Read More]

If you bought it new from a store, I think chances are that they manufactured the patched game. Otherwise, it's a bit suspicious......  [Read More]

I'm walking in the fog saying this, but you could perhaps use the console to give you a royal guard skin, provided you have one in the /base folder. That's not a long term solution, but it could work. There are also a few skinning tutorials here (ht...  [Read More]

As you might or might not know, LA is supposedly working on the "Star Wars 2007" game, which will probably be some kind of action/adventure jedi game (possibly centred on Vader) similar to the JKs. Latest news have it that it will *not* be...  [Read More]

Weird stuff going on there... really WEIRD stuff... "This is the new fashion in the market," says Shorah. "It's a show of force, because the US army is powerful. It's a symbol of strength and of our refusal to put down arms." He...  [Read More]

You could say that. There isn't much info. given from it so far. Ah well. It's just that I saw some concept arts on a french canadian website that is quite reliable concerning news, and they never mentioned it was about Vader....  [Read More]

Wii all the way. Even though I'm probably not buying any of those consoles. I never liked Sony and their PS. When the first one came out and everyone was like "omg!", I was happy with my SNES. Even when the universe nearly colapsed when a...  [Read More]

Obi-Wan is nice :) So are R2 and C3. I think IV and V Luke >>> VI Luke. He just doesn't look the same and is a tad overconfident at times. I liked the innocent farmboy better :p...  [Read More]

I'll say it again, if you feed, you will revert back to a mostly normal form that will allow you to speak to people. You're stuck in the Mages Guild, right? That's perfect. Just wait for the night and drink from everyone in there. For the cure, you...  [Read More]

If you feed regularly (I read you must do it at least once every night) your character will remain mostly "normal", and you won't take damage from the sun. Vampires can thus fast-travel safely if they feed well. Check out your character s...  [Read More]

Yes, but exploring the worlds, rather than combat, really was the point of the game. I feel I should remind you that this game came out in 1999 and the other Star Wars games out at the time didn't have saber combat that was all that much better. It w...  [Read More]

''Saber combat in that game was a sloppy joke.'' Yes. Like SWBF2. ;) At least SWBF2 is more about troopers with guns than Jedi with sabres. In TPM, you spend, like, 90% of your time as a Jedi. The end was extremely anticlimatic. :(...  [Read More]

Yes me too. My favourite levels are on Tatooine. And the hardest level for me was the final battle. Some of the jumps you had to do in that place were just a pain. And I always thought that Darth Maul was disappointing. Saber combat in that game was...  [Read More]

My favourite is Gardens of Theed, by far. I really liked to completely clear it (blowing up the AATs with the "happy" cheat) and calling the place "my private gardens" :) . I also liked the Trade Federation Ship level. I have...  [Read More]

We're most certain to see games like EAW2 or BF3 hitting the stores in the upcoming years, the Jedi Knight series just doesnt bring in the cash like its better-looking, playable big brothers. Better looking? You are comparing a ~2002 game to 2005-2...  [Read More]

If LucasArts is ever going to make a Jedi Knight 4/Dark Forces 5, then it better be one ****ing far jump ahead of JA. JA was by no means a leap over JO, as JO was over JK 1. We need Star Wars realistic use of force powers, and lightsaber duels with r...  [Read More]

Does anyone know if that code effects your ranking at the end? The only codes that don't affect your rating are the "harmless" ones, such as the wireframe view. Even there, I'm not sure. In any event, perfection does affect your rank. It...  [Read More]
