1) and 2) are really weird; never happened to me. I did experience some strange bugs (though not similar to these) with Battlefront 1; so he's not necessarily running an illegal version. 3) It's a pity, but we'll have to live with it. 4) The game...  [Read More]

The point is the tactic for on Hoth (For Instant Action --IA --POSSIBLY Galactic Conquest--IF, you can use Jedi/Heroes in the Galactic Conquest (I THINK you CAN). ) You can have a hero in Galactic Conquest if you buy the appropriate bonus and then...  [Read More]

Frigates are pretty cool, but I think they are destroyed too easily by bombers. And I wished there were more than ~3 per side......  [Read More]

Some *objectives* are timed in the campaign. Such as protecting area X for Y seconds, or recovering X in Y seconds. Entire battles are not timed. (This is for the PC, but I think it should be the same for the X-BOX). I'm not sure I understand what...  [Read More]
Kashyyyk is the first map I had some trouble. I lost Yoda very early (and thus learned how vulnerable Jedi are to rockets - something to remember for the coruscant level). I ended up playing with an engineer and blowing up their vehicles. The shotg...  [Read More]

No, it was Episode IV and it was "Always emotion the future is." At least I think it is... Yoda is not in Ep IV. I suppose you mean Ep V? I personally have no idea when he says that however....  [Read More]
I agree with the "nerfing" of the vehicles. In Bfront 1, you could just hop in an AT-ST and kill everyone by holding the mouse button. About commands for the NPCs : I have finally figured out how they work, and I think it's a definite imp...  [Read More]
@ Naso : I haven't played online yet, nor on the Tantive IV level. But on other levels, yes, there are lots of thermal detonators, but less than in the first game (I think they slowed the throwing rate or something). In any event, I have found that i...  [Read More]
Well, first, I must say that I have gone through a couple of different "moods" about BF2 before it was released. At first, I was desperately waiting for it. Then, I even considered not buying after seeing some of the screenshots and videos....  [Read More]

Instead of focusing on playable Jedi and space battles they should have improved what they've already made, because it doesn't cut it. They should have FIXED it... not just added on more stuff in an attempt to cover it up. They should have fixed wha...  [Read More]

They are? Hard to believe. Space battles and... Playable Jedi :D But yeah, I agree. We should have had space battles since the first game. And whether or not you agree with the Jedi thing, it's not such a big new feature....  [Read More]

You can man the turbolasers and walk around inside the capital ships. Is this official? I mean, is it available in multiplay and instant battles? Not just in the campaign? They might have pre determined flight paths on certain maps, I think I rea...  [Read More]

Having the ships respawn soon after one lifts off is interesting. I guess so there will always be a starfighter ready for a player when he needs one. Although this way there is no way to balance the number of fighters of each type players use, unless...  [Read More]

I don't think you should worry about it, on the video with the n00b flying a TIE interceptor he got shot down loads. I'm sure i noticed a Rebel ship taking off, and then another spawning in it's place a few seconds later... Remember even Bespin Platf...  [Read More]

No, it hasn't been released to my knowledge, I was talking about the version they were playing in the two movies. Is that the final version? I guess I was under the impression that it was a demo... The game did look rather complete. I guess it's m...  [Read More]
It's amazing to see how TK is talented when it comes down to starting bloody debates :) We don't want to get this locked, so we'd better go back on topic. Debating over whether or not the gunship will fly in space is, as of now, pointless. We don'...  [Read More]
the "same manufacturer" is the kamino's >_> besides, even if you could get a gunship and use it in space, IT WOULD BE TOTALY USELESS! you can't use one is space! it isn't designed for it! IT CAN'T DOG FIGHT! it is designed to move lik...  [Read More]
In SWBF2, yes, they are. Of course, that is seriously screwed up. I don't think it's actually confirmed that the MagnaGuard is the CIS Commander, because I've also seen yellow-marked Battle Droids. Pilots weren't blue in BF1. The developers obvious...  [Read More]
 But I HATE how the Magna guards are the CIS commander, thats just screwed in every way shape and form Sorry if I missed something, but where did you get this from? Does it also talk about the "classes" of the rebels and empire?...  [Read More]
And u can just look a JK2 and JA.. even there they copied stuff like the weapons, cause they are Star Wars Weapons. They didn't copy the weapons because they're SW weapons. JA is like... one year after JO? It's only normal for the galaxy's inhabita...  [Read More]
With a name like "detpack", it has better be an explosive. I guess it's remotly detonated, since it would have been called time bomb otherwise (and we already have mines)....  [Read More]
Absolute correctness in a game isn't possible. I mean, even BF2 isn't entirely correct, because being hit by a single bullet, even if it just grazes you, would knock you to the ground. ...and you can revive anyone with a defibrillator :D That bein...  [Read More]
I fail to see how that relates at all. He probably means that a rookie foot soldier wouldn't be allowed to play with a B52, and that we shouldn't really consider Bfront's gameplay as "militarily correct". As you can see in those videos...  [Read More]
