I just got JA and when I tried to install the patch it said the game was already up to date. Did they start manufacturing games with the patch already on the disk or is something not right?
I'm not really sure. I think when you install the game it also finds and downloads the latest patch during the installation. I doubt lucasarts is planning another patch, so I guess you're set.
I doesn't automatically download the patch, at least it doesn't on the version I've got. You could have a version that is already patched as you said.
If you bought it new from a store, I think chances are that they manufactured the patched game. Otherwise, it's a bit suspicious...
Well if someone has taken it, patched it and put it back it's not that bad :D
Well someone online clarified that I was playing the updated version. Sorta weird though. I got it on ebay so I don't know how old it is.
If the CD looks genuine, then I guess it's an "official patched version". Otherwise, someone could have patched it. Anyway, like Dom_152 said, it's not a big deal. As long as the game works both offline and online, it's all good :)
Just hope the Police don't hunt you down and arrest you for having a Pirated copy! :O:P
When I bought JKA it said 1.01 on the CD's so it's already patched. That must be what you have.
Yes, if you got the game recently it should be the patched version.
