[QUOTE]9.Quanon somehow seems to know everything about area models.[/QOUTE] Hйhйhй, this sounds like I was born with all the knowledge to get something from 3Ds Max into the Kotor games  This thread shows where I started my journey with mod...  [Read More]

MagnusII did it again! Few days ago he gave me an updated version of Kaurora. Lately I had some real troubles getting my models working in the game. MagnusII worked some of his programming magic and presto! Working models! Thanks Mag, you're the bes...  [Read More]

A suggestion - perhaps you could connect your module to Quanon's Nar Shaddaa (http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?t=200556&page=13) additions - assuming that Quanon would be OK with that. That way once the Exile and party escapes, the disor...  [Read More]

Wow, nice work you guys! :o Looking at the quality of the textures used on that smallish cockpit I think this is a sort of cinematic module only... There's certainly some normal mapping business happening to make it look that good O_O Ofcourse it's...  [Read More]

I took a try at modeling a new area ( this is my first time making an area ) for a mod I might be working on in the future, Quanon's Turtorial on modeling a new area helped me a lot. Here are some screens on the area. NO TEXTURES YET! Looks great!...  [Read More]

Mmmm, so you're telling me there's no way to solve it the logical way? Just making crazy blind steps and see what happens? There must be a logical way. And a reason for this to happen. That's how most of the "methods" dealing with 3D forma...  [Read More]

What tutorial do you recommend me or what should i do? I hate the try&fail method. Then you've picked the wrong game to mod. Altering 3D for the Kotor games is all about failing, having a ton of patience and 100.000 redo attempts to get somethin...  [Read More]

So yes, you did alter the 3D model. You made it smaller and added extra content. Did you use Gmax or 3Ds Max? Not sure if that does really matter... Mmm... My memory fails me, though there's a nice tutorial on altering heads here at Holowan. I think...  [Read More]

Nihilus mask is beast! Good work on the round eye sockets. It certainly improves how the shadows work for it in the game. No doubt some reskinning work was involved. So kudos on that to ^_^ And all those awesome looking robes! Some of those are very...  [Read More]

Mmmm, you're problem is not in the .are file, but rather the walkmesh itself must be set to grass. IIRC the valley of sith is put on "dirt". Allthough, I'dd use a search here on Holowan; DI has done some research on grass in the past. I us...  [Read More]

Mmm; the contrast is a bit high I think on the NPCs face... He just looks rather dirty and overly smudged with oil... Or received a beating... Unless ofcourse it's a NPC from the Telos Lower leves/ Sewers, which would make it fitting  Anway, yo...  [Read More]

Wow, some very good textures in there. Dang, loving the details. It certainly makes the game feel more fresh. Shame the wookie model isn't more detailed around the mouth. IMO, the lip thing doesn't really work well. It's a bit to 'glued on' in looks...  [Read More]

May not take that long, they got the patch out to fix the invincible enemies patch in Fallout: NV the same day. However unsure if that was Bethesda or Obsidian Entertainment doing. Still you would think that would teach Bethesda to test their patches...  [Read More]

Great, I just patched the game via steam as I thought that would improve it. As the last few days, Skyrim suddenly decided that I should only play in sessions of 20minutes and NOT more. As after 20mins I was staring back at my desktop. Thing is I al...  [Read More]

Nope, I don't know which models go to which module. Or which textures go to Yavin. I can't even open the files in gmax. Ah... yes, well the models are 3Ds Max files. Mmm; let me have a peek at those, they are rather old models. I couldn't rem...  [Read More]

Some very nice skins you got there :) Though, I don't mind the logo of the republic on the shoulder being there, it looks a bit to glued/ tacked on top. Plus it looks a little pixelated compared to the rest of the skin. I'dd try and fix that a bit....  [Read More]

Mmm, Sion looks pretty neat, though the contrast on the black cloth/ leather bits seems a bit "strong" or cartoony even. Not sure if it's just the screenshot or the lighting in that particular area of the game. Though you did mention polis...  [Read More]

The male Twi'lek portrait images are a bit old, since they still show the bulbous neck sac. I've just had a MAJOR break (thanks to my new hero, VarsityPuppet's tutorial) and I've been able to add mask and goggle hooks, as well as make that neck thinn...  [Read More]
