Just a reminder to you (18 and older, or who turn 18 before election day) US folks out there that haven't yet registered to vote. You have to do so a certain number of days before the election, so (if my calculations are right) you have to do it eith...  [Read More]

I always remember it being twice, but I confess I did not watch ESB many times prior to the theatrical SE version in 1997 (I missed it in theaters in 1980). In the SE it's always been twice, that I remember. In the original, who knows......  [Read More]

I dunno, the latest theory I've been working in my head about all the SE and other changes Lucas has been making to the movie is something along these lines: Every change they make costs a ton of money to look make it look like it fits, so they choo...  [Read More]

Unfortunately I can't really, not without losing too much detail. Check the pic I linked to on Starwars.com. It's her, I tell you, unchanged from the 1983 version!...  [Read More]

On the ROTJ DVD, I found the old puppet in Jabba's palace used for the "Sy Snootles" character (the yellow alien with the weird mouth that sings). The shot, a pan right shortly before the "Jedi Rocks" music number: http://strate...  [Read More]

Maybe it's like Luke's green saber. A SFX gaffe that was fixed, then "restored" to the original gaffe-ness. In other words, a screw up on the part of Lowry Digital or a memo that Lucas had a brain fart about and forgot to send....  [Read More]

I agree. Some folks I've talked to claim that the saber clash in the 2004 Edition actually is how it "always looked" in the Original version. The shots of the trailers either show the SE version or a version that has slightly shaded blade...  [Read More]

Okay, I realize not everyone watches DVD's on their computers, but a lot do, so here goes. I was reading a site (Sam Davatchi's page) talking about the "low contrast" of the lightsabers in the classic SW DVD's. So I tried messing with the...  [Read More]

Don't be too hard on him, guys. Samus's big bro, you might have to do some work yourself, keep in mind! I just go into the console and type: /bind f12 screenshot. Tap the f12 key and then go into my /base folder and there it is in jpg format. Si...  [Read More]

Let's not start a flaming match here (everybody relax in advance, thanks!), all I said was that Flip Kicks are not available in JA MP, except through the use of mods. There is nothing untrue in that statement. If you want to argue that flip kicks a...  [Read More]

I guess only Lucas has the power to do this, most other DVD's you can still buy them in stores, years later. Heck you can still buy the Prequel DVD's now and they've been out for years. Or is Lucas really saying that this is a "limited edition...  [Read More]

Btw, are you sure about all this "limited" stuff? Because I've seen it marketed like that in UK ads and such, but here in the US there's no indication given (at least not to the customers). Most DVD's they sell them pretty much forever un...  [Read More]
