Could be. Keep in mind of course that you can't roll while carrying a Ysalamiri, and you only roll while holding a saber or having Melee selected. I'm sure you knew that but just checking. Yeah, I'm guessing the server settings are to blame......  [Read More]

http://www.perkwerx.com/DDS/DDS.htm This site (which created many of the bot routes I use on Meatgrinder) features bot tutorials and a link to download BotMaker, a free easy to use utility for creating JK2 (or JA) bots. Bots are just text files (w...  [Read More]

ROTJ Jabba is unchanged. For the 1997 Special Edition they cut in another quick shot of him saying "do that again" right before "Jedi Rocks" was inserted (to replace the old "Lapti Nek" thing). But it was just a reuse of...  [Read More]

Originally posted by Lathain Valtiel Huh? Kurg, I've shown you this bug before... Yes, this is pretty much a bug/exploit. That said, it is only useful for people using single saber, particularly red. The other styles don't really have a significant...  [Read More]
Originally posted by razorace Oh, ok. I thought you were indicating that it was a major exploit in basejka. :) Anyway, in theory it shouldn't be a huge deal in OJP's system because you can't block/dodge/etc while jumping and players will still bloc...  [Read More]
Ok watched it... so the "wind up" is missing, just the forward swing is there because the "wind up" animation is "playing" during the jump (you can't see it), also a slight pause as you land.. then the hit. Of course th...  [Read More]
Originally posted by riceplant I would say that an exploit is a bug that is used at all, not just abused. Or a bug that when "used" confers some kind of benefit? An advantage? If it doesn't help you, or it's just strange looking, then...  [Read More]
I'm not quite sure which one you're talking about. How about providing a demo showing it done? And I hope you aren't going to say "well I want to keep it a secret so it won't be used." You brought it up in the first place, so only fair! ;)...  [Read More]

Sounds interesting. Bot Orders were something that Raven planned on with Jedi Academy (evidenced by the lingering references in the data files), but never completed. It's a standard Quake3 feature, so it's mystifying why it was left out. In any cas...  [Read More]
