If you're looking to avoid "honor" servers (ie: ones that make up lots of rules about who you can and cannot kill, when and with what move, etc) and just want to play the game "unrestricted" (ie: the way it was intended) please fe...  [Read More]

By one vote? ;) g_saberdamagescale 2 is identical to JK2 1.02 as far as I can tell, though I didn't do a side by side comparison, just from memory and from talking to Raven guys back in the day. The only differences really are the special move stats...  [Read More]

Thanks Amidala, but that still doesn't answer my question.. why does the server tell me it will be back in 90 MINUTES (not seconds, minutes) and stay down longer than 15 minutes without a manual restart? The next time it happens I'll get a stopwatch...  [Read More]

Maybe when I find my JA discs I'll try out the latest from OJP. MBII wasn't that bad of a mod either. You should find yourself a new set of discs off ebay or LA.com or Amazon, and try 'em out. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. You might even w...  [Read More]

Not true. The auto-shutdown and restart every 24 hours is strongly recommended but it can be disabled if desired. It turns out that the JA Linux dedicated server has a memory leak. The longer it runs without a restart (or crash and restart) the more...  [Read More]

Yeah, I've spent too much time screaming at the honorz/whiner community, busted a few veins I think. :( Also I would accuse Ami of shilling ET in order to get their referrer discount, but she's quit hosting (I'm sure I'll be forgiven for this attemp...  [Read More]

Setup your server for JA and get RazorAce (or me) to hook you up with the latest OJP Basic. Do not, under any circumstances support JA+ in any way shape or form! Honestly we don't need many more dueling/sabers only servers (though having it non-hon...  [Read More]

In regards to the Velikovsky debate, some feel (notably "bad" astronomer Phil Plait, whom you're free to disagree with of course) that Sagan made a rather poor showing of the Scientific community by handling his end of the "debate"...  [Read More]

Just out of curiosity where'd you go to public school? I seem to remember us studying various creation myths of different cultures in elementary (grades 1-5) sometime. I went to Catholic school after that so I can't say. In my first year of H.S. spen...  [Read More]

One more thing.. I honestly think Religion DOES belong in schools, but of the academic comparative variety (as opposed to the "this is the TRUTH" and/or devotional approach used in private religious schools) If we can handle sex in the sch...  [Read More]

Okay. I indulged a little... but I was genuinely put off by the President's position and I *do* think that the topic deserves serious discussion. Suggesting that a psuedoscience be offered as a viable alternative in our public schools is a very serio...  [Read More]

Wait, Skin, was this a debate or a rant? Admit it, you indulged this time. ;) Is the debate whether or not Bush is a theocrat or whether or not that he should be impeached for (apparently) siding with the creationists? Or is it a debate over whether...  [Read More]

The gruff raspy voice he has gave Boba character. Now he's just Jango in used armor. We could speculate that he got into a lot of fights, maybe got injured in battle, etc. but no, Lucas once again takes the fun out of it by forcing this "remin...  [Read More]

It's always been a bug with the game, not a cheat. Now some idiots like to grab a droid part and deliberately hide somewhere to "ruin" the game. This can be done in any mode with capturable parts. The way to catch them is to spectate, and g...  [Read More]

I viewed a strategy guide for ROTS. It looks like you only get a half a dozen skins to choose from (all Episode III related). The modes are Duel and Coop. So MP-wise it truly lacks the variety of JA or JK2. The question is... are the saber & fo...  [Read More]
