Well the thing is, these are older systems we're talking about. The people that buy these games already own an N64 or a PSX. They aren't going to go.. "hmm, I want an Episode I game, doH! It's only for that newfangled N sixty, whatever, I gues...  [Read More]

Here's my honest opinion: JPB was awful. If it hadn't been Star Wars it would have been just okay (like Zombie Revenge in a way..). Sure it has "secrets" and other stuff, but the play mechanics are very poor, and not true to SW hardly at...  [Read More]

Well I guess I missed it then. So what you're saying is that in a commercial, they showed what was supposed to be game footage or cutscenes, which looked different than in the actual game...? That makes sense. Kurgan...  [Read More]

The only commercial I saw (and I only saw it once) was the one where the kid is at school and he pulls a Jedi Mind Trick on the bully (yes!). I don't even recall what scenes of footage they showed afterward. I think they were in-game, but I just rem...  [Read More]

I don't know about the PSX, but in the PC version, it uses the models you control in the game, so they are "in game" cutscenes in the true sense. Kurgan...  [Read More]

Though not an atheist myself, I did find this article interesting. It presents the ever controversial topic of abortion, and a debate between two self-described atheists, using philosophical approaches for and against abortion. All you philosophers...  [Read More]

None that I can tell. Maybe there is, but it's so slight, it isn't easily detectable. I have not played every inch of the game from start to finish, so it is entirely possible that at in some major battles (with blasters and explosions flying everywh...  [Read More]

This really shouldn't have any bearing on your decision, but I was planning on getting a GeForce2, at least by the time I upgrade my hardware (in time for ObiWan). ; ) Yeah as far as video is concerned, I know JK/MOTS uses Direct3D, not Glide, so it...  [Read More]

Okay, now I understand what you're trying to say. ; ) Hey, I got an email from bleem!. They explained that it was more like a translator/simulator, because of the way it enhances the hardware visuals. Okay, so you guys were right. They just call it...  [Read More]

So what would you call it, a PSX simulator? You said yourself it could be called an emulator, and though they try to "differentiate" themselves (I can see why they would from the recent legal cases) from "traditional emulation."...  [Read More]

Well Argath, whether or not that is true (I wasn't aware that it could not be considered an emulator), that doesn't change that facts of what I said... that emulators and roms are not illegal. If bleem! is an emulator, that does not make it illegal....  [Read More]

bleem! is an emulator, because it imitates the games hardware enough so that the games will work on a PC (or soon DC). Emulators are not inherently illegal. Let me repeat Emulators are NOT illegal and I don't think they SHOULD be either (and neither...  [Read More]
