Does anybody know if this game is out for either Playstation or Playstation 2? I know about Starfighter for PS2, but this game sounds so cool!

Why, can't you buy an N64? Get one with Pikachu on it!

While it has been announced for N64 only I would bet that they will release it for the PC also. It would be hard to ignore the Rogue Squadron PC players by denying them the sequel, but if anyone could do it it would be LucasArts.

I doubt that it's coming out for playstation, n64 only has 1 other episode 1 game, playstation has -how many? 1: the phantom menace, 2: jedi power battles, 3: star wars demolishon. It'd have been nice if lucasarts would have put the games out for all the systems.

Playstation could never handle something like this title I think! Too demanding control and graphics!

That'll never happen Garindan. It's not just LucasArts, but most games come out for only one platform. It's a business thing. How are you going to get new people to buy your system if all of the same games are available for other systems too. I agree with you but I think we should be pretty happy if they get offered on two systems at least. A PC version and a console version is (in my opinion) the best option.
Although I do have to say there are a lot of games I would have liked to see get more exposure than Racer did by being brought out in 3 versions.

I agree with you about the 2 or more systems thing.

Well the thing is, these are older systems we're talking about.

The people that buy these games already own an N64 or a PSX. They aren't going to go.. "hmm, I want an Episode I game, doH! It's only for that newfangled N sixty, whatever, I guess I'll have to buy that instead of a PSX, just for this one game!"

These systems have been out for years. Most people that were going to buy one have done so already. This is just another game for them to buy. Some people have multiple systems, this is a way to get them to buy both games.

THe PC already has a lot of quality SW games. The N64, nearing the end of its life, needs more quality titles for it before RIP time.

Maybe they could get Rare to make a Star Wars game. Like a shooter, using the perfection of the Goldeneye/Perfect Dark engine, with added stuff, like light sabers and force powers.

Boy, this topic brings back memories. Anyway, an update; I now hate the PS2 and hopefully await a DC port of BFN.
