I usually will play online after I have completed about 3 or so single player missions. I will also play LAN with my brother before going online so I can get the hang of multiplayer games. I play LAN with my brother too. Mostly I won't play too much...  [Read More]

Maybe they could also add the dreadnaught to the Imperials and Bulk Cruiser to the Alliance as well? That'd be one more ship per side. If you throw in the fleet carrier ships (the Flurry for example) for the Alliance, then there'd be a carrier ship f...  [Read More]

I always read the manual first. Then I'll probably go into skirmish mode and get the hang of tactics and general unit strengths. I'll probably do the same thing with the demo if it has a skirmish mode....  [Read More]

From what it sounded like in skirmishes you can't have mixed teams. The question was asked at the live chat as to whether a rebel player could be on the same side with an imperial one to combat two rebel players (reb. + imp. >>> reb. + reb.)...  [Read More]

If you are going to use that reasoning DW then consider this: AT-AT ANH: no ESB: yes RotJ: yes EaW: yes SSD ANH: no ESB: yes RotJ: yes EaW: no It's like others have said. It goes more about when they were developed and not when they were seen....  [Read More]

The way that I read it the first time (Delphi's quote) was that the game just stopped when you reached the battle of Yavin (although I am somewhat confused on how the battle of Yavin could exist if the rebel player were to just ignore the planet), bu...  [Read More]

Personally, I dont mind the idea of expansion packs. Yes they cost extra money but it costs alot of money to make them. I like the idea of Empire At War sprouting more expansions - maybe an Empire Strikes Back esq one followed by Return Of The Jedi...  [Read More]

Yeah the interview didn't really reveal anything to me. Lucasarts must be forcing them to keep a closed mouth about a lot of the details. I wonder when Lucasarts will loosen the hold on outgoing information for Empire at War......  [Read More]

I usually fight very defensively, because I like to secure what holdings I already have before trying to acquire more. Also I will probably be using massive numbers of fighters and bombers. On the ground I will have defensive structures, but I'm not...  [Read More]
