Though stoffe -mkb- is too humble to mention it on first pass, your best bet for editing the dialog.tlk file directly is TalkEd which can be downloaded from http://www.starwarsknights.com/tools.php...  [Read More]

Can i download any other mod that show the cheat console????There is no such mod. However, there is a tool called Preppie which will make it easier for you to issue cheat console commands. (link (http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?t=152585))...  [Read More]

Jeez... this one's quite undocumented. As far as I can tell (not very far) the row names of weaponsdischarge.2da are pointers to animations.2da rows. If droid=1 then the droiddischarge.2da appears to be used as well. What notes do you have?...  [Read More]

If you are having trouble using KotOR Tool, I would suggest using a GFF editor to modify the .utc. As you'd expect the field is named HitPoints. Once you make your changes, you can save the .utc to your override. Please note that this would affect al...  [Read More]

Just thought of something. Do you have a non-US version of TSL installed? There was a syntax error in nwscript.nss that was distributed to non-US version of the game (details here (http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?p=1767073#post1767073)). If...  [Read More]

Hazard's version works with both (it's what I normally use), you just need to have TSL's nwscript.nss in the same folder as nwnsscomp.exe. Are you working on a computer in which TSL is installed or on an offline machine?...  [Read More]

I explained as much as I know about using KSE on Xbox in the KSE-readme.txt. I even list what game files are needed to make KSE happy. KotOR Tool also requires game files to make it happy. Chitin.key, dialog.tlk, and all the data\*.bif files are requ...  [Read More]

it's really not that hard to mod the xbox kotor game, it's the fact that there is nothing to mod it with. kotor tool is made without a function to manually change where the files are pulled from, which makes it impossible to use. I don't understand...  [Read More]
I just hope they can get the Toolset into a usable shape in a future patch so those new improvements can be put to use. :)The fact that it is extensible is reassuring given the modding fan base for NWN. Plus there's always (gasp!) other tools that co...  [Read More]
Thank goodness they dropped the worthless KEY/BIF format. I'm sure they probably improved the .sav/.res savegame scheme also -- that was a pain to navigate. Sounds like a good change also for dialog scripts. In K-GFF, have you attempted the "U...  [Read More]
K-GFF seems to work, at least with some file types, as it is now. That makes me happy. I guess it shouldn't surprise me, but it does kind of. :) As for the DLGEditor it would likely require quite a bit of rewrites since the handling of conditional/ac...  [Read More]

I believe you're correct on this point stoffe -mkb- in the fact that the strings returned from the TLK file for display are interpreted byte-to-character ratio of 1:1. That is to say, although the TLK file appears that it could support Unicode, the r...  [Read More]

That's an odd place for an error to occur -- trying to read the classes.2da from the 2da.bif file yet KSE seems able to retrieve the other .2da files correctly. KSE 333 has a bound copy of chitin.key and 2da.bif which it will extract unless it finds...  [Read More]
