I tend to think the game engine cutscenes look a little cheesy, and could really be done more effectively with an app like 3DSMax, but that's just my opinion. I'd recommend creating them in the tool you think will be the most appealing output. :D...  [Read More]

Is there any reason you didn't try your creatures in SP? IIRC, he did get it working in SP. However our MOD is an SP game created with the MP engine (obviously, since we don't have the SP SDK (yet?)), so Corto and I discussed the possibility of ena...  [Read More]

OK. The fusion cutter sequencing issue is fixed, and it behaves closer to the original: back-n-forth (1,2,3,4,3,2,1...) instead of sequentially (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4...). Thanks go to Salv for pointing out that issue! :D Thankfully this was a rather tri...  [Read More]

Just to show you that NPCs are getting spawned, but are not visible (I'm not concerned about this issue - it's not even on the radar yet so don't get hung up on it), check out the following screenshots. http://64.224.160.19/jk2images/InvisiNPC1.jpg...  [Read More]

I found that running original DF on my P4 1.8GHz system here at work was really sluggish, compared to my clunky ol' P1 166 (non-MMX) at home. Any tips on getting it to run better? Thanks for your awesome little VDMSound mini-guide, Fracman!!! :D...  [Read More]
