I've seen this too and it's hard to pin down because it's not very consistent. One thing that can be tried is to have the people getting dropped for unpure pk3's remove everything but the assetsx.pk3 files from their base dir and see if that stops it...  [Read More]

If you mean Jedi Master mode, that's gametype 2. It's basically along the lines of king of the hill. You'll just need to add or modify the following line in your server.cfg (or whatever you use in it's place): seta g_gametype 2 Enjoy....  [Read More]

Did you leave some things out? I don't see any server info items with sv_hostname being the main one. If you've left the hostname blank, it would be rather hard to find in the list. ;) I also noticed a private spot, but no private password being set....  [Read More]

Just to make sure, you are using +set net_port (as opposed to +set netport), right? As far as the weapons/items go, you can disable them using the following format: set disable_(what you see when someone picks it up) "1" For example, in t...  [Read More]

On an unpure server, you can mess around with pretty much anything. I avoid them at all costs for that reason and the fact that there's nothing stopping people from using wall hacks, etc....  [Read More]

I'd like to point out that all the cvars in that config which start with any of the following are not necessary for a dedicated server: cl_, cg_, ui_ Additionally, I noticed that you have g_mapAutoCycle set on and yet have a custom rotation? I'd reco...  [Read More]

Make sure you have uploaded the assets2.pk3 file from your patched client. As far as removing a password, if you mean to do it via rcon use /rcon set password none You have to use none because "" won't work as rcon strips out quotes. Settin...  [Read More]

To help prevent disconnects during map changes, make sure you have sv_timeout set to at least 90. Personally, I use 120. Beyond that, you should expect players to sometimes drop during map changes. They'll disconnect themselves because it's a good st...  [Read More]
