hey boys and girls im in a real pickle... I want to set up up a jk2 server and well I cant, I released the default jk2 port... it only shows the correct game on the local network and it shows a bizzaro server on the net that has the bots i put it in but its a differnt...map and it wont ping I NEED HELP.. plus if anyone can help me setting up the router so i can use file sharing programs also that would be great.. I've tryed and in both aattemps on both subjects I've faied.. even my computer wizard friends dont seem to give me the right info to help me with this.. PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD HELP ME .. oh and heres my brand of router Its a linksys BEFsr41 .ver 2

ver 2? don't you mean 1.46.2?

I have a BEFSR41, I have ports 28060-28500 forwarded to my server and it works great! Even with six people in it!

Good luck my poor, linksys brother...

well heres a update, i've gotten it to work by forwarding a certain amount of free ports to my server by going in to port range forwarding and leaving a range. .I did the same for my win mx situation..altho this time I didnt enable udp on it.. but i left the range I gave udp and tpc capable.. and it seems to work now oddly.. i could use some info on that.. I sitll dont understand this all to th fullest exstent I tryed putting hte udp part in its on catagory when doing so i t didnt work messa no understand
