c_chkcredits A very useful script indeed. Just set parameter 1 to the number of credits the player must have, and put it as a conditional....  [Read More]

I found it less engaging and harder to trigger than Bastila's (probably because you're more likely to actually bring Bastila with you than Carth, since he's not a Jedi). Always had that problem at first. But by now I've gotten used to talking to eve...  [Read More]

The Exile had power at forming relationships and is a great leader hence being a General; my saying that Revan was better IMO was no saying the Exile wasn't very good. I'm not saying Revan wasn't a good leader; I was just pointing out that there's n...  [Read More]

Personally I think Revan was a very Gifted force user, probably in Battle Meditation I highly doubt that. For instance, the Jedi strike team probably wouldn't have been able to board his ship if that were the case, since they were only able to do so...  [Read More]

Then why isn't it the same with the Exile? I'm inclined to say that it's because the Exile is female, but this was the case long before that was entered into canon. Could be that more people have played K1 than 2, I guess (but that's another matter ;...  [Read More]

The reason I like Revan isn't for any qualities or merits of his own. (So you were a really skilled general and strategist and really powerful in the ways of the force? Aren't we all...) I like him mainly just for the plot twist that centers around h...  [Read More]

So, my question is this - What is it about Revan that causes people to obsess? I have no clue. I honestly don't. I think this is one of those cases where you don't know what it means to be one unless you are one, and if you are one, you'll never adm...  [Read More]

Interesting ideas there. The droid quest is definitely doable, and I like the idea of the TSF doing surveillance on the pazaak den, though I'm not sure if everything you mentioned is possible (well, anything's possible...but still ;)). I also like t...  [Read More]

Thanks for the support, everyone. :) Sounds cool, but I can't do anything at this point in the art of Beta (If you even needed one >_>) as I have another Telos Expansion Beta, and I can't/don't/won't get rid of that. I still need to give the s...  [Read More]

Hello there. :wavey: Some time ago I got to thinking (again) about how much I despise Telos. :xp: Over the past few days I've been debating with some of you out there over the quality of the planets of KOTOR 2. I never really liked Dantooine or Kor...  [Read More]

Yup, that's what I thought. I figured I could risk it, because I haven't actually been playing the game, but just testing the mod. And I've been loading a saved game from Peragus and warping, so no problems there either. EDIT: Turns out that actual...  [Read More]

Haven't made a .mod file yet; I've just been editing the .git and dropping that in the old Override folder. That's the problem, isn't it? I'm getting the feeling that's the problem...I'll test that later......  [Read More]

Ah, that makes sense. Thanks to you both. :) EDIT: Hmm...it's set to 1, but I'm still having the same problem. What's even stranger is that some of the placeables that do show up are the wrong ones (but when I drop a copy into the Override folder, t...  [Read More]
Never is it implied that Kreia was lying about that. My understanding is that Kreia wanted the Exile to stop relying on those bonds (this is what she means by "I want you to feel the Force again"). And the Exile did, eventually, when she ki...  [Read More]
As far as I know, that is the only time in tthe wole game that unfolds like that. The other time, you can walk out of it and Kriea won't say anything, unless it was very drastic, like kiling a beggar. Yeah, that's what I thought. And really, did K1...  [Read More]

Yeah, that was memorable in a similar sense to thumbscrews. But I thought we were putting down scenes that weren't incredibly irritating? Speak for yourself. :xp:...  [Read More]

Kreia – from TSL. What not a hero? To me she was the biggest hero in TSL. She is the one that found the Exile the one person that she knew could defeat Darth Nihilus and could be trained to beat the other Sith Lords and save the galaxy. Talk about...  [Read More]

The thing I find odd is that the teachers of such force powers do not have them themselves... i.e. Visas does not have force sight... She does in first person. ;) Handmaiden does not have battle precognition This one definitely doesn't make any se...  [Read More]

Calo Nerd, Darth Bandon & Sherruk: since you do not have to face them alone, they are not hard. 3 people usually means a lot more strategies. Not with the game's faulty AIs. It would probably be easier to take them on alone, if not for the fact...  [Read More]
Hmm...well, I think I know how to fix your "read only" problem. I had to do this to enable cheats. Right click the folder, go to properties, then permissions, and give your user full permission. Vista doesn't do this automatically like XP....  [Read More]
