Do you have a link for that? I'd like to read it. Ask and ye shall receive: Tasty Taste states he's pushing for female Exile here (http://forums.starwars.com/thread.jspa?threadID=222689&start=615). Excerpt: I'm certainly pushing for the KOTOR...  [Read More]

They are correct. Lucasarts has officially stated that the LSM storyline is the canon version, and that is the same for all Star Wars games where applicable, (Like the JK series). The reason they do that is so the KOTOR stories can be used in the ove...  [Read More]
The devs looked at doing an OT era game, but there were way too many continuity points to tie into that coming up with a grand scale story was impossible. And I'm glad they didn't. I wouldn't want to play a game where I was forced to be an existing...  [Read More]

Umm....you might want to switch to decaf. But otherwise I think it would be silly for them to announce it if they're still months, or even years, away from anything concrete. Too many things can go wrong in the meantime and they'll have even angrier...  [Read More]

I'm actually torn on whether I'd like them to be reading the suggestions on this forum and others like it. On one hand, there are some decent suggestions that would make the KOTOR series quite well done if implemented. But the thing I'm worried abou...  [Read More]

That sounds pretty reasonable, but I would hope for something a little sooner than that. Assuming that OE makes it and that they stick with the Odyssey engine, then they shouldn't need 2 full years. It seems pretty obvious that the devs had KotOR 3 a...  [Read More]

I'd say it will be out for christmas 06 for the 360 then feb 07 for PC That sounds about right. Hopefully not, though, since that would mean a similar development timeframe as Obsidian got with TSL. I'd hope Lucasarts learned their lesson about rus...  [Read More]

I want them to keep the same combat system as the first two games, perhaps with a bit of fine tuning such as more varied animations (not the same exact move over and over when you use flurry, etc). I'm not sure KOTOR would do well do use a Jade Empir...  [Read More]

I think it really depends on how the mini-game is made. If it's a fun mini-game, then everything is usually fine. If it's a boring one, then it's a boring part of the game. I'd still rather not be forced to have to play it. Mini-games should be opti...  [Read More]

It's not really a feature I'd like to see. It would especially be annoying on my second or third play thru after the "novelty" has worn off and I'm stuck having to go through with it each time I get to that portion of the game. If it's com...  [Read More]

Which also goes back to choice. That was one of the biggest selling points of KOTOR, and of cRPGs in general: having the choice to do with your character what you want. If you remove the LS/DS options and instead select from the very beginning which...  [Read More]

The main reason I don't think this is a good idea at all is because the LS/DS options are one of the most interesting parts of this series. Removing them would make your choices pretty obsolete. If you had to pick to play as a certain alignment from...  [Read More]

However in the trilogy it didn't skip from person to person, if you play as the exile, then keeping the ebon hawk would be fine, if you don't, it would be kinda stupid... Except the backstory of the Ebon Hawk is similar to the Millennium Falcon in t...  [Read More]

I don't want to see: -Wookiee in our party -Korriban or Dantooine be one of the planets we visit -the PC as a chosen one. -rushed/incomplete ending -lack of party member sidequests -more than 2 droids in the party -too many Jedi in the party...  [Read More]
I think that's less to do with with any confirmation about KOTOR3, and more to do with Lucasarts yet again taking advantage of advertising and popularity by inserting one of the more populer KOTOR characters in another game, disregarding continuity f...  [Read More]

I want the "Return to Base" function reactivated... No thank you. IMO, that was such a cheap way to heal and recover in KOTOR1. The combat difficulty is poor enough without giving us even more ways to make things simple....  [Read More]

They need a playable Hutt in the party. how cool would it be to have a big slithering slug, who has force powers and a lightsaber. That would be a terrible, terrible idea. Hutts aren't even supposed to be Force-sensitive (I still don't know how or w...  [Read More]

**!!SPOILER WARNING!!** In a dialogue sequence between the PC and Bastila in K1, it is revealed that the PC's homeworld is a Deralia, a planet laying in a remote system. This is subject to debate, of course, since the PC's memories of Deralia, or De...  [Read More]

In K1, when asked by Bastila, he claims his homeworld is Derelia. Of course, you could also say that it's Kashyyyk. I wonder if we'll ever find out if that was truly his homeworld, or if that was just his "implanted memory" homeworld....  [Read More]

Nobody says that you have to use your force powers in K1 and/or K2. Put on some armor, grab a blaster, and go to town. Just because you have force powers doesn't mean you have to use them. That would mean artificially handicapping yourself in order...  [Read More]
