About the KoTNR idea: If they do decide to make games in that era, I hope that they'll place it atleast 100 or more years after the NJO books. That way we won't be running in to Luke Skywalker and his family, and we won't have to worry about continu...  [Read More]

yes, after the end of the current KOTOR trilogy, it will be time for a new one. How about KOTNR: Knights of the New Republic? See my non-Force user PC thread. That's what I'd like to see after the KOTOR series is finished....  [Read More]

I don't think it would suck after the third one, theres so much story potential in this saga. But I still think they will stop after 3. I think "KOTOR" will stop after the third one. But I think (or hope) they'll make more SW RPG. But i...  [Read More]

It would atleast make more skills handy to have. As it is now (although TSL did improve upon it), you don't miss out *too* much if your skills aren't very high. Especially considering how much people love making lightsabers and making them more power...  [Read More]

Then your PC must either find replacement parts, another saber throughout the game, or have another skill added to the game "Lightsaber Repair" (or just incorporate it in the current "Repair" skill)... Trick is, if your saber gets...  [Read More]

I want my lightsaber right from the start. No more lost your memory or banned from the order stuff. They were good in the first too games, but if they use something like that again, it will definately ruin it. Assuming we start as a new PC, I would w...  [Read More]

I only really have two wishes in terms of planets: 1-They not reuse planets. What made TSL a bit disappointing and somewhat short was the fact both Dantooine and Korriban was reused. Not surprisingly those were my two least favorite planets in TSL....  [Read More]

Not to mention the fact people are just stating what they'd like to see should a third installment be made. I'm sure there are fora like this with fans of Baldurs Gate hoping/wishing for BG3 and making suggestions, or Fallout 3, or Planescape: Torme...  [Read More]

Apart from the two droids, I want brand new party members. One of the most enjoyable things about playing these games is meeting new characters and having them join your party, and learning about their background. If party members from previous game...  [Read More]

But. . . but why!?! Because, in my mind, the KOTOR series will always be about the Revan/Exile saga. I want a resolution to the story, since TSL left it wide open, but after that I don't want the story to drag on and on. Imagine trying to carry on...  [Read More]

Well you just can't compete with logic like that! Course I don't just want 3, I want 3-9. Just keep cranking them out until I'm too old to see my PC monitor! Actually, I hope the KOTOR series ends at 3. But I hope they continue making SW RPGs....  [Read More]

I judge great games on how appealing they were a)on my first play through and b)how many times they compel me to play them again. Jade Empire was great on the first play through, but the linearity of it made it (IMO of course) not so great to play t...  [Read More]
actually, KotOR had the same plot as NWN as it was the first out ;) and you thought NWN was linear??? :eyeraise: There's not a single main quest in the game that has to be done before another one is required.. My mistake. I didn't really make my p...  [Read More]
Hmm... Let's see, Bioware has made Jade Empire, NeverWinter Nights, Baldur's Gate, and KotOR... Wouldn't you consider any of these great RPGs? Because I consider all of them great. Jade Empire (good), Neverwinter Nights (good), Baldur's Gate (great)...  [Read More]
Obsidian. Their story is deeper, and given a better planning schedule and more polish time, their game would have surpassed BioWare's by a long shot. Put it this way, it's about 50/50 when people talk about which one was better, yet Obsidian's wasn...  [Read More]

I have to say I would love a game where there are no jedi. Just running around kidnapping and kill and mugging every one who can't run and some who can. To bad guns went out of fashion. I wasn't necessarily talking about a GTA style game where you c...  [Read More]

But I do really enjoy the fact that developers are kind of branching out and making Star wars games that revolve around the other things people do in the galaxy. Like, as you mentioned, Republic Commando. Unfortunately, they haven't branched out int...  [Read More]

Personally, I would play it. I enjoyed Taris in k1 using a blaster and I think they could make a whole game without a lightsaber. But I know they won't because most people will only play games where you get to be a Jedi. Yeh. I know it's more of a p...  [Read More]

With KOTOR III speculation popping up all the time, I was curious how KOTOR fans (and any RPG or SW fans for that matter) felt about a possible Star Wars RPG that didn't revolve around the Jedi or the Sith. Basically, the protagonist would be a non...  [Read More]

Having a new character is the best way to maintain that element and allow for the inclusion of the first two characters that everyone has come to love. Sure their stories are as of yet unresolved, but wouldn't it make for a more engaging player exper...  [Read More]

Come to think about it BioWare made 80% of the game, so Obsidian had very little to do... Do you have something against Obsidian? I'm new here but it seems every thread you post in you make comments like that....  [Read More]
