The PC version should work without any problems at all should you choose to import it, with the Xbox and PS2 on the other hand you may need to watch out for the NTSC/PAL thing. Though I'm not sure how important that is these days, having not really b...  [Read More]

Man, yet another excellent tool released from the development studio that brought us the Grim Fandango launcher, ScummVM Q&E, and many more! Great work Ben, I can see it'll serve me well once the game comes out. Tomorrow....  [Read More]

That last one sounds feasible enough. I'd imagine that said store would contain more than just the presumed hats/cups/shirts merchandise though, considering all of the hype. The soundtrack will almost certainly be on there, and maybe even Psychonauts...  [Read More]

The promised soundtrack would probably be a good bet, but Gabez's point is valid.. it's really not something you'd use in relation to "mess with". God, I'm stumped too. >:...  [Read More]

I'm not sure what role the stump has in the game, but the statement that Raz comes out with is a continuing of the classic stump joke which has now appeared in Monkey Island 1, Monkey Island 2, and Grim Fandango. Maybe more, I really don't know....  [Read More]

I can't say that I agree with you, but you're entitled to your opinion. I've also just noticed the funky subtitles which you can turn on in the sound options. The characters have cute little avatars and everything. Man....  [Read More]

You can change the controls by pressing escape, and going to the options menu. There's a controls area, where you can also invert the mouse camera (which I found immensely helpful). Anyway, I'm very impressed. The atmosphere of Whispering Rock is tr...  [Read More]

Unfortunately not. I contacted Majesco directly about it, although here's part of the email.. ".. there will be a soundtrack for Psychonauts courtesy of Double Fine so they want to limit the tracks we release elsewhere. Once I hear more from th...  [Read More]

I always look at things in an objective fashion, which I guess also makes me a fairly cynical person. Whilst I do have faith that Tim will, gauging from his track record thus far and everything I've seen leading up to now, produce a good game.. I do...  [Read More]

All games will have people who dislike them. Grim Fandango is very well respected, so you don't generally see as many negative reviews, but there will be some out there from people who simply cannot get on with it. This guy in particular seems to ha...  [Read More]

Marketing, unfortunately, makes all the difference when it comes to games. Grim Fandango didn't receive as much as it could have enjoyed, which largely accounted for its initial poor sales. Another similarly awesome game that suffered the same fate...  [Read More]

The shipping is $15, which works out at around Ј9. Since the site is still saying that it's in prerelease mode, I'd imagine that the bonus will stay active until it's flicked to "out", which could happen at any time really. I'd try and get...  [Read More]

I don't think CRT monitors establish their colour like from that. What I've just assumed from having a look in my own monitor's settings, it starts off as pure green rather than greyscale, and then red/blue is added upon that to get the right balance...  [Read More]
