I've ripped the music from the demo, if you cant run the demo (like me :¬: ) then you can at least enjoy the excellent music. Enjoy.

Perfect benzo. ;

On a related note, you can play the cut-scenes in Bink player.

You're not alone. Granted I'm currently using a rather outdated computer, but it meets the minimum requirements. I'm hoping the full version magically likes my video card, but it appears as though I'm going to have to wait until I purchase my new computer to be able to enjoy Psychonauts.

What ripper did you use? I can recommend the Dragon UnPACKer (http://www.elberethzone.net).

I did it the old fashioned way, with a hex editor.

I really appreciate it, because I wasn't planning on playing the demo but really wanted to check out more of the music, but my computer can't recognize the extension. What the hell do I play a .rar file with?

.Rar is an archive file format :) Use WinRAR (http://www.rarlab.com/) to extract the juicy innards.

Or get the very free 7-Zip (http://www.7-zip.org) which can also handle lots of other archive formats and has its own format that is really compact.

I like the German filzip - http://www.filzip.com/)
It's like winzip without that awful screen.

The camp music reminds me of the songs played over at Todd's trailer in Full Throttle:

"I thank the loooooohhhhrd each day for the apocalypse."

I think Dave Grossman wrote the lyrics to that song. Maybe. Don't expect me to be right.

Oh-kay. I've downloaded WinRAR and extracted the files...

Now, how do I actually play them? What the hell is a .ogg file?

It's a fairly common and good quality sound format. Winamp should have no problems playing it, or anything else ever for that matter.

What format were they in to begin with?

I've uploaded new versions of the rar's. The music all now has the correct filenames eg Lungfish Death.ogg.
